Very old, dusty building. Ofputting. Some questionable people staying/hanging around at the hotel, didn’t feel particularly safe

Outside areas would benefit from a tidy up and a lick of paint. The bedroom blinds needed reaffixing and a few of the lights needing replacing - but nothing major.

Both the bedroom and ensuite bathroom were clean, spacious and warm. Staff at reception were welcoming and polite. Parking during the day was available for only £3

The surrounding doesn't look pleasant at all. It wasn't encouraging and worth the pay. It was a nice environment but it lacks good management.

Staff very friendly. Especially Han. Clean shower . Clean bedding. Clean towels. Tea coffee in room. TV lounge. Ideal for "The Curry Mile". Excellent restaurants 1 minute walk .

Was no mention of having to pay to use the car park when booked, one towel for two people, bed was rock hard, 2 of the 3 bulbs in main light didn’t work. Bedside lap had no bulb in. Shower filled up with water as the plug was blocked up with hair etc.

Host seemed nice. Bus stop outside hotel took you straight into city centre.

Not being able to let myself in and out of the room I was staying in was weird. Shower was appalling either freezing cold or scalding hot.

The room was dirty and the carpet had stains all over it. the kettle wasn't clean. At the very least I expect the room to be clean. I was told there was no key for my room due to an issue with the door so every time I come in I had to ask the staff to open the door. The guy who took me to my room couldn't speak English. There was no tv in the room. At night it was very noisy and I didn't get a lot of sleep. The hotel is poor and needs to be refurbed. It's ok for 1 night if you really need somewhere to stay but I wouldn't stay there again as you can get better hotels for the same price. Disappointing.

Not very clean: previous guest’s razor on floor by bedside table. Door mechanism repeatedly faulty so I had to get staff to let me in.

The room had a decent bathroom, plus kettle and coffee.

Dirty and dusty bedside lamp, dusty kettle lid, no sink plug, bathroom door frame very unclean, shower water temp not very warm / hot even at highest setting, shower sealant covered in black mould, old spiderweb in top corner of shower, shower soap tray covered in blue stain all of which was disappointing, decided not to have breakfast on offer. It was my cheapest option but have booked similar in other locations for less and not seen this much dust and unclean bathroom facilities.

Friendly, welcoming staff on arrival and departure, clean towel, comfortable bed, thankfully.
