Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe car park I'm quite sure was free when we visited in the past but now it's only free from mid afternoon Friday to mid afternoon Sunday, so arriving Sunday evening we had to pay £5. Then upon looking around our room we had half a toilet roll and only one set of towels so I went down to complain and there was nobody on Reception and I got somebody from the bar to go and find them. When they appeared they were very good and gave me four more toilet rolls and then went to find some towels as they were apparently some way away. We also did'nt get any biscuits which I thought was a bit off as we've had them at other places which were a bit cheaper.
There was a nice big tv at the bottom of the beds which had loads of channels and the reception was good and all the lights worked. We went down for an evening meal at the bar and were able to get a Sunday Roast which was nice and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning.

United KingdomThe view from our room was a wall 😂 oh well, you can’t have it all in life. The gym and pool are where we spent down time anyway.
Large comfortable bed, proper pool and gym, decent food both breakfast and dinner, amazing welcome in the bar and lounge every day. Just off the motorway, easy access to Leeds and surrounding area, safe parking, yoga, easy check in/check out. Jolly and has a Starbucks. Very smart business model.

United KingdomParking was a nightmare. Due to the gym being attached (and even though it was a large carpark) I drove around and around for 10 mins for a space. This also meant I couldn’t go out later for food as there was little chance of getting a space again. People were parking in pickup zones, disabled bays with no permit, on the roads and anywhere. Restaurant onsite was expensive so ordered in (as were a lot of people)
Rooms were lovely. Great walk in shower / wet room. Comfortable bed and well heated. Very clean, tidy and all the mod cons you need. Easy access to the M62

United KingdomNo human interaction on check-in. The room was cold, and although we tried to change the temperature to 22, it was still coming cold air . No fridge at the room and not even a small bottle of water, although there was kettle and tea-coffee, we weren't sure if we can use the tap water so we didn't try any of these. Again, there was no staff available at reception to ask, and the pub was already closed . For the room price, you will expect at least a small bottle of water
The location was convenient for the purpose of our visit. The pub and staff very nice and friendly as well as the lady at our morning coffee at Starbucks
