Two single beds pushed together to make a double, which did my partner's back in; not a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly, yes, but also clueless and offered no help with the check-in process. And breakfast would have been Starbucks; we went elsewhere.

Check-in was simple and staff friendly, the room was clean and quiet and everything in the room worked.

Some of the rooms (like the Club ones on the 2nd floor) are really tricky to find if you're not used to the venue. The stripey aesthetic is a bit overwhelming.

Rooms are always spacious and comfortable. You know what you're getting if you're a frequent traveller. Bathrooms are always really clean and tidy. A very comfortable stay.

The sheer number of kids running around the place playing knock knock ginger (both nights) was definitely not ideal. Also, the room clearly had a towel rail once upon a time but is now missing? Oh, and the extractor fan wasn’t working, which, when you take into account the kind of shower set up they have - leaves the bathroom in a kind of wet-room-like state.

The location was great and the big bed was super comfy. The TV in the room & the Starbucks were also a huge plus! I did speak to a member of staff about the children too and they were up on our floor within minutes.

I booked on the website but they kept me waiting for over an hour while the booking came through.I was quoted 90 pounds a night but it cost me £107.

The room was clean and warm the hotel bar is large with plenty of seats.The breakfast was serve yourself and very good.

Breakfast, it was awful and after tasting some of the food decided to stick with just toast. Disappointing considering we paid additional to be in a club room and have this included.

The property was well placed for where needed to be, it was clean and modern and the facilities were good.

Lady on reception was rude she didn’t explain things clearly I spent 20+ minutes trying to find my room the layout of the building is like a rat maze going up and down in several lifts before finding the correct floor that aside it took around 8 minutes to walk from my room to the lobby given I have mobility issues this isn’t acceptable there was no hair dryer in the room when I requested one it seemed like i wasn’t believed and waited 30 minutes for one to arrive Lastly there was building works being carried out within the building and across the river I had to close the blind for the duration of my stay

Probably need new carpets because they look a bit outdated and are stained. Wish the tvs had Netflix or were smart tvs as well.

It was a great location near the motorway. Much bigger than other Village hotels I’ve been at. The room was actually quite spacious, and I had a query when I checked out the room and the lady at the front desk was very helpful, didn’t catch her name. All in all, for the night it was nice.

We had a con-binding room with a door between. Which is great if u was sharing with family. But we wasn’t and it was very loud could hear everything which kept my child awake.

The facilities was excellent and great value for money. Very clean the swimming was amazing tit my little girl.
