Some odd nose like a generator or something through the night and doors slammed, didn't sleep the best but the room was comfortable, drinks were very pricy

We were allocated the wrong room. We booked a twin and were given a double in the annex. Reception staff sorted it quickly and upgraded us to the main house but other than it being in the main house, I wouldn’t call the room an upgrade. It was very much the same except the bed had two single duvets on it. There were also no towels in the room but again reception sorted it quickly for us.

The main house was a stunning building and the location ideal. Breakfast was also lovely. No complaints at all about the breakfast.

It was very hot, understandably with old buildings they are freezing when cold and boiling when hot but given it was only April and roasting it was strange. Make sure you open the windows and it’ll help. The breakfast food was really tasty but somewhat chaotic.

The property was exceptionally clean and all the staff were friendly and smiley. The food was really good both at breakfast and the function we attended. The Mansion canal view bedrooms were quirky and the beds very comfy. The property has lots of potential to be excellent, grounds are beautiful.

Beds - single - were very narrow. We parted them a bit more and floor had not been cleaned.

Great setting even though there’s been a lot of rain. The restaurant was very good indeed and lovely service. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Beds comfortable.

The tvs do not connect to Netflix or streamers which is a little frustrating.

The staff are always extremely friendly and willing to go above and beyond. The location is beautiful and the price is really fair for a Manor House hotel. I have stayed many times and if you ever do have an issues it is always worth reaching out to them as they do take feedback seriously/

Cold room and needed to use additional bar fire provided. Block of wood used to keep window open? Two or three ladybirds found in the room. Cool shower on one evening.

The staff were very welcoming. Incredible value for money. Beautiful surroundings, tastefully decorated, excellent friendly bar, superb Indian dinner. Ample parking space.

Bathroom door was very hard to close and noisy, No extra locks from the inside of the room so didn’t have that for peace of mind as the other room doors were so close it sounded and felt like our door was being opened
