Parking is very limited, and proved to be so when after a long shift at work I was not able to find a place to park my van. So much so I was advised to park on double yellow lines, explaining no ticket would be given. On top of this I had to spend £15 a night extra using booking.com so not happy. One of the things I love about hotels is a long shower or bath, but in this hotel, the water was not hot, it was warm, sometimes cold. Plus the room was very cold. I turned the radiator on, but not heat ever came. The WiFi was terrible 4 star hotel, not in my book, but also, the lack of help trying to park my van when the main reason for booking this hotel was the parking, was not a good experience. And being woken at 0830 by the cleaners is again not acceptable. So many small issues, but atleast the staff when I needed them tried. Basic problems, but big issues for me during my stay.

The bed was big, and It seemed I was upgraded to a disabled room, which ment, bigger bed, ground floor and mad shower

It’s was a lovely family suite of rooms very clean The only complaint was the price of food in the restaurant- the food was wonderful but on the expensive side

Being in the annexe, down the road from the main hotel, was fine but being in room 62, the outside traffic noise did affect how I slept. It’s a room that’s very close to the main road so every vehicle was heard that accelerates, has squeaky brakes or a noisy exhaust isn’t restful.

Very clean and comfortable. Furnished well.

We were put in the Sleepwell inn that was just across the road from the hotel the bed was covered in plastic and it made a crinkly sound all night . The room was very noisy from the traffic passing by.The hotel charged £10 a day to use the swimming pool that was not mentioned in the booking.

The hotel looked lovely and we had a meal in the hotel restaurant and it was very nice

I was here with work for 3 days and needed to work from the hotel. No WiFi for the entirety of the stay which made life very difficult. Gym opening at 7am is disappointing as doesn’t leave much time to start the working day. The property was dated and my window looked out over what looked like a factory room

staff were friendly. breakfast was good.
