Everything!! Lovely big comfortable rooms. The sunroom was such a bonus as was the washing machine!! So much food left for us it was amazing and definitely not expected! Nicola and husband (sorry didn’t get your name) lovely, very friendly and up for a chat☺️ HIGHLY recommend to everyone!

Excellent, very quiet location for exploring the region - from Edinburgh to Stirling all within easy reach.. Hosts very welcoming and add 'extras' in the kitchen. Very large lounge, bedroom has double bed and 2 singles. Make sure you read instructions to get here, it's well worth it. If visiting Edinburgh it is easy to park car in Linlithgow or Polmont and catch the train.

Nothing, everything perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Scotland. It’s a beautiful two-floor place, recently renovated, warm, and very welcoming. The beds are incredibly comfortable with ultra-soft mattresses and toppers that made our sleep perfect. The kitchen is fantastic and fully equipped, ideal for making breakfast and meals. We also loved the board games provided, a really nice touch. The internet is lightning fast (80 Gbps!) and worked flawlessly even with more than 10 devices connected, plus there’s a smart TV for relaxing in the evening. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the whole apartment feels brand new. We truly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it — excellent quality, outstanding comfort, and great value for money.

We had a great stay at West Muirhouse. I wish we were able to stay longer, but it was our last night in Scotland. The house was quite roomy, bigger than I expected, plenty of room for our family of 5. It was very clean and quiet. Nicola left us food in the fridge for breakfast. The location is very close to the Edinburgh airport, but in a rural setting. Thanks for letting us stay at your house!

Some small things: I think someone forgot to clean the shower drain (my toddler picked up the lid and - ew). The kitchen could use some scissors. The big window frame in the bedroom needs some attention. Otherwise, great place!

What a lovely little house in a beautiful setting, and just outside of Edinburgh! Great views!!! The hosts are very friendly and provided us with more than just breakfast, which made us feel very welcome. The house is spacious, nice and clean (my allergy for dust did not bother me here), spacious, and the beds are comfortable (except for the fifth, which is a pull out or something, but it was fine for my toddler). There are games and coloring books for young and old, a washer and dryer, dishwasher...

Nothing really! Maybe a bit of the garden could be private for our dog but the garden is still great as it is!

Fabulous! Great location, easy to find, clean, comfortable and well equipped. A real home from home and perfect after a long drive. Secluded but close to a busy little town with loads of amenities. Friendly and helpful hosts.

We stayed here for a family holiday and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of the accommodation. The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were far more spacious than we had expected. It felt incredibly comfortable and homely from the moment we arrived. What truly impressed us was the generous selection of breakfast items provided by the host — cereals, eggs, milk, capsule coffee, juice, yoghurt, and a loaf of bread, all beautifully laid out and ready for us to enjoy. It was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for a better base for our family trip. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Stay with a Thoughtful Host We had a spacious, peaceful, and very comfortable stay in a beautiful setting with amazing views. The area was calm and relaxing — perfect for a quiet getaway. Stairs to sitting area. I would've liked a grabrail as I'm unsteady on the stairs. Sofa is not very comfortable but suited our visit which was short.

Beds very comfortable Lots of room to move around. Staff very friendly took is to our destination. Explained everything.really nice. Fridge well stocked for night time nibbles and breakfast.

The dinning/living area could be better thought out to maximise on the space, it was a little cramped by the dining table. Perhaps the TV should be fixed on the wall and then the chairs could be moved around. The furniture was typical for a conservatory so not the most comfy, but the didn't put a damper on the holiday at all

The house was perfectly located between Edinburgh, Queeensferry and Falkirk where we were visiting both friends locally and many attractions. Only 9 mins by car to Linlithgow town centre. The house was wonderful, two bedrooms with one double bed and three singles for the children. Quite a large garden. It was a home from home.

A truly special place. This little cottage felt like a home away from home - warm, cosy, and full of heart. There was so much space to relax and the location was just stunning: fresh air, peaceful nature, and breathtaking views all around. The hosts were absolutely lovely - incredibly kind and generous. They’d left us a whole selection of treats, from fresh fruit and sweets to breakfast essentials - such a thoughtful touch. It made us feel genuinely welcome. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

I really appreciated that Nicola came out to greet us when we arrived and showed us around. She was very friendly and welcoming. I also loved the big living room where we could relax and spend time. It was great that I was allowed to bring my dog – that meant a lot. Nicola even left us some breakfast, which was such a nice surprise. Overall, a very warm and comfortable experience!
