We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThere was a strong damp smell in the reception and hall way leading to are room the bed was uncomfortable. There was a homeless man in the room next to us who I felt sorry for he clearly had issues and needs help with some where to stay in the future.

United KingdomWhere does one start? The hotel looked rather tired and dated. The bed was not all that comfortable, no staff were present during the stay (although to be fair, a key was left for us at the desk), there was no breakfast offer available - luckily, we could eat nearby. There was a rather strange musty smell pervading the building which could do with a rather good clean. The place has potential but needs investment.
Place that we normally stay was fully booked, so chose this one. Location was good for where we were visiting with good connections. Place was also very quiet, although I did get the sense that there might not have been many there.

The room was really dated, ripped and worn bedspread, bed held up by blocks of wood to level it, no shower, jacuzzi bath didn’t work, window inside full or flies and cobwebs. Tv wasn’t tuned in so had to be retuned - full of dust on the table and tv.

United KingdomWhen we arrived at the property we where met with the smell of damp/stale drink. We arrived slightly early as discussed with the hotel prior to the stay to leave our bags, there was no one available on reception and we had to ring the bell and shout for someone's attention. We where given a key and told that the door is temperamental and that we could have some issues getting in later that night and given an emergency mobile number to ring if there was any problems. True to the hotels words we couldn't get into our room... We rang the emergency number and there was no answer several times. In the end we did manage to get into the room. The room itself was very dated and the bed was extremely sqeeky. The only fortunate thing was the smell of damp was not in the room. Check out was between 9 and 10am. We went to reception at 9.30am and yet again there was no reception staff, infact there was no staff to be seen at all! Other hotel keys where just left on the top of the reception desk. This was terrible customer service as during our stay we only actually seen 1 member of staff for 5 minutes when checking in!
Location was perfect for what we needed and good parking facilities. The hotel grounds where lovely.

The location was perfect for my needs, however the rooms were tired, the shower poor, and in general need of an update. The barrier was not secure as no code was required, though my vehicle was safe. No meals were provided, and the lounge was not used.

There was no breakfast and as a couple of 80 Yr olds (which we appreciate they would not know)but were put in the room at the top with two flights of steep stairs. So once up we did not fancy going out, hence we had nothing to eat since 1pm other than the drinks supplied in the room. We were short of two pillows, the bath was too deep for us to use and the TV was so hitch we could not switch it on, suggest instructions left to operate. We did ring and confirm we would be there as past time of arrival and the gentleman was more than courteous, but there was no one around to sort our issues. Parking was great, and a very quiet location.
