Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Getting tired, but for the money it was except able. Could do with new carpets throughout really. Apart from that everything was good.
Staff were exceptional, location was reasonably quiet, I was at the back of the building and there was no road noise. Does what it says on the tin.

I could hear traffic and the windows were not airtight but it was really windy when I was there so that probably made a difference. The bathroom door was a bit spattered on the outside but other than that it was lovely and I would recommend it. I didn't notice that it was on the Northbound M5 until I got there but there was a hidden short cut to save time going to the next junction.
Big comfy bed, TV, kettle with tea and coffee and milk, nice bathroom. Good hanging space. Radiator with controls so nice and warm! Convenience of being at the side of a service station with everything you could ever want at your finger tips. The staff were all lovely and warm and welcoming, which was really nice.

Public areas a little tired, but they were clean.
The room was spacious and clean, and after reading some reviews about cleanliness, I was a little worried, but I had no need to be! The bed was comfortable, pillows not quite, but ok! Staff were friendly and helpful. Value for money was very good. It is a motorway motel, not luxury hotel or B&B. Microwave in reception to use, which was very handy. I would use again if I was staying in the area

Wrong side of motorway! But only few minutes down the motorway.
Clean, comfortable and great value. It was only a stop over on a long journey , so price was perfect.

The room and bathrooms were not cleaned to a good standard. There was hair in both bath and sink plugs which is very off putting to me. Sweets were behind mattresses which were on the floor. Think cleaning standards can be improved.
Location was good for my ongoing journey. Room was good value. I was given a downstairs family room due to my disability as there were no lifts, thank you

I wasn't expecting much being at the services, but it was an absolutely top-notch hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed, the room was well equipped, free parking and great friendly staff. They even have breakfast options in the reception with a big selection. It saved me a fortune by buying something from the services.

Only one thing some people up stairs over are room was very noisy very heavy footed but that was all.

The bath water could of been a bit hotter but obviously it can’t be too hot for safety so I am aware of that. The bed was a bit bouncy but I actually slept quite well as I usually struggle if it’s a Different mattress I have at home.
I had everything I needed although I am a minimalist. The room was more than i expected for the money and I was able to have a relaxing evening watching to in bed after a nice bath. Locks worked on the door so I felt safe. The water pressure was spot on and the room was just the right size.
