Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaParking is a tad inconvenient as there is no designated parking, and you have to find available parking on the street. May be tricky when you’ve just arrived or leaving, and need to unload / load your luggages onto your car. But in the bigger scheme of things of the house, a very minor issue.
House is comfortable for a family of 7. The house has a capacity for 9 people, so we had more than enough space. The dining room faces the garden, with a sliding door that can be opened to enjoy a lovely summer’s day weather. The town is also only 10 minutes walk away.

United KingdomThe property was really nice, comfy, clean and great size kitchen table to sit a bigger party. Lounge was spacious too. Garden is lovely, tidy and good size for children to play out as adults socialise on the patio. Host was very accommodating to our requests and pleasant to deal with. Good communication! Location excellent, short drive to lots of interesting places to explore in the Cotswolds.

United KingdomLeaving at 10am on Sunday morning was a little too early for us, another hour would of been great - understand about the cleaning though. We needed access to some surface cleaning product to be able to wipe down the sides in the kitchen. A j-cloth would also have been useful.. A few winter cobwebs (we cleaned them away). There was one other issue on concern that was disappointing and addressed with the vendor. The Vendor was very understanding at our concern, and said it would be addressed with the cleaners. Thank you for addressing this for us.
Keeping in touch with us before our stay was very helpful. Question were answered in a timely manner. We arrived at 2ish and were able to access the venue. We loved the location, not in the town, just a short walk away. All amenities were very close. The house has been updated to a high spec. The number of bedrooms and number of beds was great. The openess of the house how it incorporated the garden and it was well equiped inside/outside. The beds were very comfortable. Some nice touches like liquid soap in bathroom, hairdryer, toilet rolls, towels and tea towels. The welcome pack was very helpful on how to use all the things in the house; oven, heating, etc... Overall we loved our stay and would return.

United KingdomLocation was wonderful - a quick five minute drive into Moreton and about 15 minute walk and Moreton has a lovely selection of shops nearby, as well as a big ALDI and Co-Op Food to stock up for a long weekend. Around a 15/20 minute drive to other close-by towns. A lovely location for exploring the Cotswolds! The kitchen was very well stocked - we managed to have a wonderful cooked dinner and a breakfast fry up and had everything we needed - including dishes to dish it up for our party of 7. We had a lovely warm weekend during our stay and the garden was gorgeous to relax in, with a table outside and a garden set with a covering over it, as well as plenty of space for our little doggie to explore to his hearts content and nap on the grass by us whilst we were outside. Beds were very comfy - fans were also provided in each room to help fight back the heat during our warm weekend at Wolsend - we'll definitely look into booking again, thank you both for a wonderful stay.

United KingdomI think a long handled broom would be a useful addition to the property :) Everything else was perfect!
Property layout was perfect for us. We were two families of four, both with young children. The house has a big open plan kitchen diner so we could socialise whilst cooking and then all sit round the large table and eat together. The lounge was plenty big enough for us all to relax in in the evening. There were four double bedrooms all with storage. We loved the enclosed garden, which was perfect for the children to run around. There was a downstairs shower room, in addition to the main bathroom upstairs. This had been an outhouse once upon a time but had been converted to a high standard and the extra showering facilities were just what we needed with there being eight of us altogether. The location was great and Moreton-in-Marsh is a quaint little village that is definitely worth a visit. We would love to come back.

United KingdomCooking equipment could have been better tailored to the needs of the number of people who can fit in a house this large. The house accommodates 8 or 9 people, but there were not tools in the kitchen sufficient to cook meals for this many people - the pots and pans were more suited to groups of 4-5. We made do with what we had, but would have LOVED a few bigger pots and pans.
The location of this property was ideal - walking distance from Moreton in Marsh and all it's facilities. It was also easy to get from there to other locations in the Cotswolds that we wanted to explore. Street parking was available, and there was plenty of space for the four cars that we brought (as we're a family scattered all over the UK so came from lots of different places). The house was comfortable, lots of shared spaces, though some of the bedrooms were a little small for adult couples, and there were two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), so there was some congestion in the mornings with 8 people.

United StatesIt’s a 15 minute walk on a busy road into town.
Our family of 6 was very comfortable in this lovely home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The garden is very nice. We rented bikes, and Evenlode Rd was an easy way into the countryside. (By the way, highly recommend Cotswold Bikes, NOT Bainton).

United KingdomIt was difficult to control the temperature of the shower downstairs - very hot - so not recommended for the children. Also, if there was more than one teatowel, we couldn't find it nor could we find one to be purchase locally.
Such a lovely, spacious and comfortable house with a large west facing garden. A great location to in the heart of the Cotswolds within easy walking distance of parks, shops and pubs. We had a wonderful and much needed relaxing weekend. Communications before the visit were timely, informative and welcoming. Thank you.

Location, close to the train station and shops, the host was responding quickly, the house is cosy, well decorated and maintained, no board games/puzzles are available.
