An unmanned or not open bar area, mind you i might have been one of the few people staying so understand in today's climate, paying staff to not attend anyone makes logical sense

Stayed here quite a lot over the years. Room's are clean, well equipped and quiet as they are away from any bars or function rooms. Breakfast has lots of options so covering all bases. Don't generally dine here as its on the doorstep to Leamington Spa which offers loads of variety.

Food, menu was very limited on choice. Breakfast was really not great, hot food was luke warm/cold. Sausages were pretty bad, very chewy. Very little bread and toaster did not toast. Breakfast was pretty awful really.

    Nice place

Shower only had one big immovable head - personal irritant as how can we reach all parts of the body?

Large comfy bed, spacious room, clean and smart. Perfect for a night away from home.

It was very warm in the room, despite the fact that the radiator didn't appear to be on. There was a fan, but we just opened the window and it was fine. I should imagine it would be quite uncomfortable in the summer though.

Breakfast was very good, there was a good selection. The bed and room were bigger than we expected, so that was a bonus. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel, so can't comment. During our stay, all members of staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful.

Cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch and the hotel reception was full of maintenance equipment. As it was the weekend the restaurant was closed.

Choice at breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.

Very disturbed night, noisy guests, shouting and banging with force on the adjacent room door, hourly throughout the night, so very little sleep achieved, hotel night staff just ignored the noise although the problem had been reported by other guests in the area. We had a total of two hours sleep that night , so not impressed.

Clean, day staff friendly, good location for Leamington, Kenilworth and WARWICK

There were only a few guests besides us so the restaurant wasn’t open in the evening. Might seem a bit picky but the toilet paper in the bathroom wasn’t the greatest quality!

The room was lovely, nice comfy bed, great bathroom with an amazing power shower. Nice to be able to open the bedroom window properly instead of ajar by a couple of inches! The breakfast was lovely, so much choice and you certainly get a full cup of coffee from the machine!

I found the bath access very dangerous for an elderly person. There were no grab bars to hold onto when exiting the bath. Also the fixed head shower is a no-no.

Room was extremely hot despite there being frost on the ground outside. Would be good to have control of the enormous radiator??

Our room was cold on arrival. We reported this to reception, and they kindly supplied a heater...😁

The location, as it is close to Stoneleigh Park. The welcome we received when we arrived. The staff could not do enough. Our room was lovely.

I don't like this bit as there were a lot of positives to this hotel but let down by a few negatives that can't be overlooked. The initial room we were in was absolutely boiling, this is not an exaggeration, it was window wide open in February boiling, melt a chocolate bar that was on the side hot, even with the heating off, this may have been due to being next to a boiler room or some heating pipes in the wall in this specific room, but the end result was a realy bad night's sleep for myself and my partner and requesting a room swap, the lovely woman on reception spoke to my partner and upgraded us to another room which was far more comfortable but still I would say on the hot side even with heating off, although it was comfortable with the window open.(others were complaining about similar at reception so could have been an issue with the buildings heating) Not overly clean but not dirty, blinds were broken in the second room but not to the point they couldn't be closed. Bed was hard, as were the pillows. Restaurants menu leaves a lot to be desired, not a lot of choice but there are loads of lovely places right on the doorstep in Leamington Spa. Generally felt it wasn't worth what we paid and it was advertised as being, may just be the bitter taste from the bad night's sleep but I have left it a day before reviewing and still feel the negatives may have outweighed the positives for me.

Hotel staff were spot on, friendly and more than accommodating and helpful. The bathrooms were lovely and well finished and one of the nicest parts of the room. The view in our upgraded room was lovely and picturesque, of the river, the grounds and the countryside beyond. Although I didn't get chance to use it the gym looked clean, tidy and well equipped. Well stocked bar, lovely polite friendly barmaid as were all the staff. I recommend the berry cider on tap if your a cider drinker. Nice lounge area attached to the bar, was always tidy and well maintained. Ample parking as you would expect with a hotel this size.
