A couple of maintenance issues in the room You have to pay for parking if you book through booking.com but it's free if you book direct with the hotel

The lift was broken and my partner has mobility issues. Luckily he managed the stairs. Fire alarm test at 8:30am Sunday morning startled us awake. Glad it was just a drill

The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable but bathroom very small. Pleasantly surprised with the restaurant as seen a few bad reviews recently, but out food was delicious and service was great when we went for lunch and dinner.

Our plug sockets wouldn’t work initially

The bed was so so comfortable! The pool and pool facilities were very clean, well space and great!

I found the little touches were lacking such as one drinking glass instead of two, the bath panel not fitted on the bath, one hot chocolate sachet on the tray but lots of coffees ( not everyone drinks coffee) dust on the lamps and cracked lamp shade.

£5 overnight parking charge. very expensive food and drinks prices. full of foreign workers staying in the hotel. not the best place to take your wife because of the exceptionally bad language from said workers

The room was too warm at night. There was a hair in my breakfast and it wasn't very tasty. Also staff in the spa area were curt and unpleasant. The staff at Marcos were pleasant but seemed disorganised

The whole concept was great. Marcos experience was fantastic. And the pool was awesome

Room had no heating was very cold to the point we had to keep our coats on. Easily rectified through lovely reception staff providing an electric heater.

Attended a wedding function and the venue was accessible, from the motor way. Lovely location and grounds.

we booked two rooms, only for the night as we were going to the airport early hours, couldn’t check in before 3pm as we asked so was there less than 12 hours, the rooms was supposed to be the same but my sister had what was a smaller lower grade room, but paid for the same so was disappointing. snd alot of stairs and corridors to carry suitcases.

Noisy room next door banging doors ..lift out of order and room long way away down corridor..ordered 2 singles but got a double and sofa bed . Pool was freezing 🥶..car park charge not good but said free parking on booking option

There was no mention about the aircraft noise from the airport made sleeping very difficult.

the breakfast staff were lovely couldn’t do enough nothing was to much but the bar staff at night I found very rude a special the bar manager well I think she was as a licensee for over 30 years myself I would not let myself of my staff be so obnoxious and rude to customers think some training wouldn’t go a miss

on a whole we had a very pleasant stay the hotel was very clean everything you could want in a hotel room bed was very comfortable

Charging £8 for the carpark is a little bit over the top. The mac & cheese dish at dinner was really awful (more like macaroni and cream, vile) and it was obvious it wasn't eaten but no question from the staff for feedback which is a pity. We were late eating so I know they probably didn't want to replace it as staff trying to close the kitchen. It really should be be removed from the menu. Sorry for sounding harsh but I like pasta and this was not edible. Burgers looked ok.

The place was very noisy especially during the night. The room needed a bit freshing up. Room had a quite a smell i didn't like and the sheets too.
