Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

A stunning Georgian chalet in Mestia, with gorgeous views of the valley. All our rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. Our hosts were gracious, welcoming and helpful. Their dinner recommendation was so good we went there twice!

United KingdomThe hostess was very friendly and more that willing to help us any way she could! We stayed here 2 nights - 1 at the beginning of the Mestia to Ushguli trek and 1 at the end, and would definitely recommend anyone considering doing the trek to stay here. We were also able to leave our bags at the guesthouse while we did the trek.

AustraliaBeautiful guest house. Great location. The lady who runs it is super lovely. She was very generous. She did our laundry and dried it while we were gone. Also prepared breakfast a lil earlier for us because we had an early morning taxi. Highly recommended!!

SerbiaWe booked this place last minute after our previous stay got canceled — and we’re so glad we did. The rooms are great: high ceilings, comfy beds, and a really good shower. Nino, the host, is a gem – super kind and everything was ready on time. Breakfast was nice too. We’ve already booked this place again for our return – it’s a spot we can trust, perfect to relax after hiking. Plus, the view from the balcony is amazing!

LatviaThere’s nothing to dislike about this place (and we’re quite picky guests). Just a few suggestions for improvement: having an a/c in the rooms would be nice. We stayed in July and it was a bit too hot during the day at times. Same to the fridge and a full size mirror – not a big issue though :)
Honestly I think it’s one of the best guesthouses in Mestia. It was an amazing choice! The property is 2 minutes walk from the main road, means it’s super quiet and is away from the city fuss. The views are lovely – to the mountains and the towers. The place itself is new, super clean, with modern furniture and facilities. We have had an amazing rest there, even decided to stay longer. The breakfasts were nice with some fresh fruits. The lady running the guesthouse was very polite and helpful – we felt like home without that “extra” familiarity you might find in other places in Georgia :)

United StatesWe had a fantastic stay at Bapsha Guesthouse in Mestia! The rooms were spotless, the location was great, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious-fresh, hearty, and just what we needed to fuel our days. But what truly made our experience memorable was Nino. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, answered all our questions with patience and kindness, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Her hospitality was exceptional. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Mestia!

Czech RepublicWhat a wonderful find! This guest house has been beautifully reconstructed, and it truly shows. Our room was immaculately clean and incredibly well-equipped, complete with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast selection is outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. A unique touch is the natural water spring in the garden, providing refreshing drinking water. The staff were consistently kind and incredibly helpful. I honestly can't fault a single thing – highly recommended!

AustraliaA beautiful homestay, would highly recommend. It was very clean, breakfast was great, shower great, bed was good (some springs pokey but pretty good), wifi a bit spotty at times. Location was great too, very quiet at night and a short 5min walk into the very centre. Parking available right in front of the stay, it’s gravel but we managed just fine in a 2WD car. Best of all, the views from our balcony each morning were amazing!!

I was happy to stay here with my friend and our dog. Very good room for this price - simple but pretty stylish. Breakfast surprised me. It was fresh and nice. shower was good - the water pressure is excellent. I like stone walls, it makes mood.

United KingdomNothing really. Perhaps less homely than other guesthouses we stayed in. Quite pricey, but we enjoyed the solid clean feel of it.
Very well located guesthouse/hotel in Mestia. In an older attractive part of town, very close to restaurants etc. Simple ‘alpine’ design. Smallish room with very welcome balcony. Buffet breakfast fine.

IsraelNot their fault - but arriving was challenging. Google Maps didn't bring our car accurately enough (we couldn't locate the place), so we parked somewhere and switched it from "car navigation" to "walk navigation" and then we were able to find the place. In the morning we saw that there was much easier path than what Google Maps has sent us through...
The breakfast was very good. The hostess was very helpful (any issue we had was immediately handled + she connected us with a Taxi driver that took us on a day trip). The location is superb, close to everything in the town. They also have private parking which is good (although some of the time we just parked outside). I liked it very much.
