Best lobio which I tried! Fine wine and atmosphere!

The mattress was uncomfortable, there was not enough light in the room. The location is between houses on a narrow road, so if you arrive in the dark it will be challenging, because you feel like you are lost.

The location is in a vineyard, beautiful view. Clean room. There is a washing machine, between the rooms there is a kitchenette with a refrigerator and the possibility of making coffee. Good lighting in the yard.

I’ve been to many places in Georgia and coming here was the best of all. Highly recommend to anyone. Beautiful winery with amazing views. Spacious grounds with loads of hammocks around and lovely shaded areas to hang out. Food was great, we had delicious dinners. Dio and his family were truly amazing hosts. They organised a wine tasting for us where we were given as much fantastic wine as we wanted and a mountain of delicious food. We had a lot of wine in Georgia and it was definitely the best, we took away 6 litres with us!

Nice room with an amazing balcony and view. Very calm place. Great food and friendly owner (we were mostly in touch with the lady of the house who did everything for the guests and was super accommodating - thank you!). Beautiful garden. Good location with the possibility to start hiking right from the house.

Few big bugs in the room, but it was out of hosts control as it is nature and depends on season

We had the most incredible stay at the wine Dio Chateau in Ambrolaure! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside. The Chateau itself is beautifully maintained, offering a perfect blend of charm and comfort. The hosts made the stay even more special – they were welcoming and attentive. We truly felt like guests in their home rather than a visitor. If you're looking for a unique and authentic experience in the heart of Racha, I highly recommend this place.

The place is just a m a z I n g!!! No photo can describe the actual place: amazing view, so green all around. Vineyards, fruit trees, flowers. Lots of magical places to relax in the huge surrounding gardens. The room was not fancy but very comfortable. Included breakfast is fresh and tasty. Eka, our host is so warm and helpful. It is better to have a car to get there. It's a bit of the main way.

Life changing experience, best of the best! If you want to know what is the true Georgian experience, best wine and best food, you should definitely come to this place. The hosts were super helpful and the food was the most delicious in the country. The dog Bubu was the best boy and the cat kept lovely company during the dinner - 10/10. Also, it’s a great experience to see the winemaking process from up close. Spectacular views from the terrace of the room. The backyard is extremely spacious yet cosy and we wish we could have spent some more days in this truly amazing place.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location offered awesome views of lush green mountains, river & wine cellar. Our stay at the wooden cottage was very comforting. It was surrounded by beautiful garden and recreation facilities such as Table Tennis, Swing & Snooker etc. The staff was very welcoming and supportive.

We had a lovely stay at the vineyard Guesthouse Chateau Dio. The rooms are located right next to the vineyard and have a large veranda where you can sit while you enjoy the beautiful view over the vines, enjoying a coffee or glass of their own wine in the evening. The food was excellent and the hosts friendly, accommodating and easy-going. The area is beautiful and the guesthouse is conveniently located on the racha wine route, near Ambrolauri and the beautiful Nikortsminda monastery. We visited the sites but also spent a wonderful afternoon in the sun, reading surrounded by the peace and quiet of the vineyard. The rooms are clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

When arriving and looking for someone to check in, the old lady we found was shouting at us - not sure what we did except for not speaking Georgian. The cottages and the pavillions are really nice, but as it was beginning of October it was cold. So we were freezing in our room (blankets were thick and warm, so once you were in bed it was ok) and we would have preferred to be offered to have breakfast and dinner inside, especially as we were travelling with our one year old son. On the second morning there was no hot water and also the Wifi at the cottage was not working. As a conclusion I would say that Chateau Dio is a good place to stay at during summer.

Chateau Dio is a nice family-run vineyard close to Ambrolauri. The cottages are basic, but offer a stunning view. The homemade food and wine is good and it is nice that you can have breakfast and dinner outside in garden pavillions (see disadavantages).
