Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We spent two fantastic nights in this place. Very comfy beds, quiet, pleasant and extremely welcoming, comprehensive and helpful hosts. We are grateful to them for making our stay a great moment.

Minor things like shower not working 100% properly, not affecting the overall experience, though.
Abosolutely wonderful place with a very hospitable host. The pool available until late hours lets You cool down after summer heat in Georgia. Breakfasts prepared by the host herself are a delight, too!

There was nothing bad.
The most amazing house. Pool area was beautiful, the kitchen is perfect. The location is near so many good waterfalls and nature so brilliant to explore. The woman who looks after you is the nicest person we met in Georgia, she was so accommodating and lovely. We could not recommend enough, kept extending our stay.

Apartment was clean, bed was very large and comfortable. We got slippers, bathrobe, toothpaste and brush, towels. Breakfast was amazing. Sitting by the pool was nice and calm, water was cold and we didn't have opportunity to take a swim. Apt is in middle of nowhere, I haven't seen any shop near by. But I guess it's nicely located if you want to visit Okatse or canyons around.

Very peaceful stay at Eco Village, Maka was a lovely host who cooked good food and made the stay as easy as possible. Google translate is used to help conversation, but we found no issues with this. Room is clean and comfortable, nice bathroom, nice to use the pool. Advisable to have own transport as it is just outside of the town and nearby city - but ample parking for this. If we came to Georgia again, would definitely re book.

We had a lovely stay at Eco Village! The owner and the team are very nice and helpful, the house is very quiet and we enjoyed the pool on a hot summer day! We would definitely come back.

Lovely family friendly, it was so clean and & in a prime location for us near the famous attractions. We added half board and food was YUMMY ! Big thanks to the host who was so sweet and kind.

Nothing comes to mind. It was perfect!
The friendly hosts, the swimming pool with unlimited open hours, the spacious property, felt like staying with relatives, the in-house breakfast, launch, and dinner provided by the hosts was excellent. Very clean as well.

The location is excellent for rest, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The owners of the shop are excellent in dealing. It will be my first choice next time. The place is clean and elegant.

We had problems finding the location at first and communication was a bit hard due to language barrier, but after all we got the right address and found the place.
Everything in this place was amazing! We had a lovely stay. The hosts were super friendly and hospitable even though they spoke very little English. The room was very clean and there was everything you'd need. We also enjoyed the pool and outside areas. The location is perfectly calm.

The guesthouse just opened recently, so everything is in very good condition and clean. We loved the pool and the whole setup of the house. Our room was spacious and nice. The hosts were so kind and welcoming- we enjoyed our stay very much! If you look for a comfortable accommodation during your visit of Kutaisi or Tskaltubo or you just want to relax a few days, this is the perfect place for that!

Wi-Fi has stopped working at midnight. Also, Wi-Fi signal strength was quite bad in the room and in the lobby too. Staff didn't speak English, we had to use Google Translate to communicate with them.
The room was clean. Staff was trying to be helpful.

We booked the property because of the pool and were hoping to spend a lazy day doing nothing- in the reality there was no water in the pool (just 2 sad frogs swimming around in the couple of remaining litres of water), no place to chill, far from the city (which is fine if you can stay in and chill). We ordered breakfast for the next morning, but unfortunately it was quite poor and not tasty as well. So I don’t know even what to say - in comparison to other places with similar service its expensive. When we were leaving the host gave us a present but i don’t think it justifies the misleading pictures. :(
The bathroom is nicely equipped, the bed was comfortable, the place is very quite.
