Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GeorgiaA very quiet place, in a quiet neighborhood. All facilities are available: washing machine, fridge, kitchen, garden with lots of shadow places. The beds are old style, but clean. Thick mattresses, pillows. I had 2 very good nights of sleep.

GermanyThe owners of the guesthouse are very kind people and even offered their homemade wine and explained the process of making it. The balcony has a really nice view of the mountains and they have a nice garden to relax. The rooms have a very good value for money.

SpainThe lack of power sockets near the bed. No hangers to hang my towels and clothes.
Very comfortable bed in a spacious room and I had a bathroom all to myself too. While the kitchen is pretty bare bones, it was enough for me to warm up my food and cook some noodles. Special thanks to Zurab and Eka for your warm hospitality! I fell in love with Diva, the calmest friendliest dog ever who loves belly rubs.

CanadaBring earplugs as the local dogs tend to bark during the night. The room can get a bit warm during the day but it cools ddown at night. A fan was provided to me upon request.
Lovely guesthouse which is a 15 minute walk from the city center. Helpful and friendly owner who can take you on a personalized tour of the region's historic sites and wineries for a reasonable fee. The building is a traditional Georgian home with spacious rooms and has a balcony with a view of the Caucasus mountains as well as a tree filled garden area to sit and relax. Friendly little dog on the premisis. The owner's daughter Ekaterine is available for English translation.

RussiaNo curtain in the bathroom, and shower water splashing down the floor. Semi-transparent curtains in the bedroom, take your sleep mask with you if you are not going to wake up with the sunrise.
Great location and a helpful host. The shower section in the bathroom is divided by a curb stone as an obstacle for water. The kitchen equipment is very limited but is enough to cook a simple breakfast. Toiletries: liquid soap, toilet paper. Cleanliness is very basic but could be described as acceptable.

AustraliaWas not very clean and the room had a strong mouldy smell so I found it a little hard to sleep. Bathroom was not clean. I could hear the people upstairs walking around very early in the morning. Room not sounds proof. Unfortunately I don’t think I would use this guest house again. But it was convenient for me for one night.
Room was big and has its own bathroom. Internet was good. Hosts were kind and friendly. Very cheap price but you get what you pay for.

GreeceWifi was hardly working in my room. I had to go to the lounge/kitchen to be connected to the wifi network. The room was a bit cold when I checked-in. There was a portable heater available but it took some hours until the room gained the right temperature. I had a confirmed reservation for a parking slot. However, I had to park on the street, as there is not enough space for parking in the property (there are many cars parked in a narrow corridor in the yard of the property and you can't exit the property unless you ask the other owners to move their cars which are parked behind yours).
Central but quiet location. The accommodation is easily accessible and just a few steps from many Telavi attractions. Big room that can comfortably accommodate a family or a group of 4 persons. Big common lounge/kitchen and yard/garden.

GeorgiaTo be honest the room and the facilities are all quite old and outdated. The beds are not the most comfortable either. However, all in all a satisfactory stay and value for money.
The host family are very genuine, friendly and helpful people. They helped to organise a local tour guide for us and also offered us a free wine tasting from their personal collection.

United StatesCold, host's constantly barking dog, it took 30 minutes to find the place, filthy, smelled like mold, just a horrible place. You won't find it with Google (which calls the place "Katerina") but then consider yourself lucky. Their dog (not a street dog) was barking all night. They gave me a tiny heater which only barely heated the bathroom alone. Only one small towel. These hosts really don't care about there guests. It's beyond me that they have an 8 rating.
I've been traveling 3 months now and this is the WORST place I've been by far. The only good thing is that the shower water was warm.
