Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndonesiaIt took 20 min to the centre but this is a minor issue.
The cottage was really perfect for me. It has basic stuff for cooking and I had the opportunity to invite a guest for a dinner. It has a good sofa, dining table, and a terrace with a good view. There is a supermarket near the cottage The bed sheet quality was very good and thanks to the owner to turn the heater on when I check in and throughout my stay there.

This was honestly our best stay in Georgia (across 4 cities). Firstly, the host is super nice and helpful. He is particularly responsive on text/calls and quickly resolved any issues we had (we couldn't figure out how to lock the door and turn the heating down). Secondly, the property is beautiful, in every sense of the word. The inside is clean, its fully stocked in terms of places to sit, the kitchen, the sleeping area, the sitting area outside, fast WiFi, TV (with Netflix). We stayed in 2 other cottages in different cities and this was by far the nicest, cleanest, best furnished, had the best views of the mountains. Third, its like a 5 minutes walk away form the best restaurants in Kazbegi and the grocery store (Spar). Honestly, I loved this place and if I ever return to Kazbegi this would be my first choice. Think of this kind of like glamping. You get to live in a cottage but you have great amenities. A good compromise between disagreeing couples :)

IsraelThe cottage looks just like in the pictures—if not even more beautiful in reality! Everything is clean and well-maintained, with a new and modern feel. It has a smart TV, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious, comfortable layout. The view is breathtaking! The hosts were friendly and welcoming, helping us with everything we needed. We enjoyed every moment here. Thank you, and we hope to come back one day

United StatesNot items we did not like but to note: - it would have been nice to have somewhere to put clothes in the bedroom. The owners are using the space for extra beds although it would be possible to put a low shelving unit across from the crib. - I'd recommend a lamp in the living room. We used one of the bedroom lamps, the overhead lights are very bright, and having one lamp plus one of the kitchen lights was perfect for the evenings - heating is controlled by the owner. They were very responsive but as someone who does not like to bother owners or waste electricity, I prefer being able to manage it myself. You can turn radiators off (there are many) but it would be easier to be able to control the temperature.
We chose Kazbegi Hut because it looked larger than other rentals. It is very spacious (compare width and # of windows) and new so the unit and furnishings are in perfect condition. The couch and bed are good quality, the bed is not quite as pillowy as a hotel bed but feels very close to one. The kitchen has large & small pots, a frying pan, and various cooking utensils. When we booked, the pictures of the kitchen made it difficult to see the size and what was under the counter separating the rooms - the kitchen was much larger than we expected as was the storage space. This is also where the microwave is. The balcony receives afternoon sun, it was nice to relax on it after a day of hiking. The location is slightly south of the square but is only a 10-minute walk. The unit is on the owner's property, they have a large space and the unit sits to the side of their home. The only time you know you're beside another home is on the balcony when you can see part of their home. Their entry and balcony are on the opposite side of their home so once you are at the unit, it does not feel as if you are sharing space. The unit is more expensive than others in the area but is larger and of excellent quality. We were very happy there and would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy where they stay as much as what they do.

United Arab EmiratesThis place is perfect for both winter and summer stays. Although we were initially cold, the heaters quickly made it very cozy. The kids loved having YouTube and Netflix available, and we all enjoyed the stunning mountain views from the balcony. The outdoor seating was a great touch, allowing us to sit and appreciate the beautiful scenery.

United StatesBecause it is a private property, you have to get out the vehicle to open the gate every time you want to exit and enter the property. Only cash is accepted for payment.
The property is surrounded with natural landscape . You can watch Netflix with English in the property. It has all the amenities in the kitchen just like your own house.

South KoreaKazbegi Hut Cottage - The exterior has a pointed roof like Mount Kazbegi and Shino and blends in well with the surroundings. The interior is suitable and comfortable for 2-3 people. When you enter the room, the ceiling is high, giving an open and cool feeling. The kitchen and bathroom are well ventilated. In particular, the shower room water treatment is perfect. The blanket in the bedroom is cozy and allows you to sleep comfortably no matter where you lie down. As a tourist accommodation, there is nothing wrong with it. I ate several times on my favorite terrace, admiring the view of Mount Kazbegi. I had a good rest for 5 days at Kazbegi Hut Cottage.

United Arab EmiratesThe view was not that great, but since the cottage was very spacious, it depended on the individual's priority view or the size of the room. There is no outdoor campfire area which is usually available outside in the cottage courtyard.
Compared to other cottages I have stayed in Kazbegi, this cottage was big and spacious; the outdoor balcony area is big enough to sit and chill around. It has all the facilities mentioned in the description on Booking.com, and the interior is very well maintained. The Host was very helpful; she arranged all the requirements whenever we wanted, like providing tour guides with horses, suggesting cafes and restaurants nearby etc.

United Arab Emirates1. It is a stand-alone cottage (more like a out house) beside host's own accommodation 2. Upon check-in host did not inform me that they accept payment only in cash. A day before my check-out I myself enquired how payment should be made (card/cash) so I can make the necessary arrangements. Host are multiple people, they don't understand English and communication is a big big problem here. I requested them to give me time to arrange for the cash & promised to pay by my check out time next day. However, a very rude lady came up to my door and harassed me to pay in cash immediately. It was a very bad experience. Soon there were two ladies speaking rudely outside my cottage door, 2 people over phone screaming and asking me to pay in cash, go to ATM and withdraw immediately. I had kids with me and leaving them behind was not possible, I kept requesting to give me time as arranging cash in a foreign land needed time & my check-out was due only next day. However, they did not listen to any of my pleas. I ended up pay
1. location is good - you get to see the mountains and the church from the comfort of your room 2. overall ambiance and interiors of the cottage are good 3. facilities inside the cottage were all good and comfortable

IsraelThe beds are not comfortable - The double bed upstairs is an old spring bed and the sofa bed below has a very hard cushion that is bad for your back, especially if 2 kids are supposed to sleep there (family of 5). The chalet is not accessible by car unless you are willing to drive in grass / gravel / mud, I was not as this is a rental car. Payment is only in cash in GEL (this is custom in these areas I think, but still annoying). There is no cleaning during the day, only before check in. and sorry for being petty, but 1 toilet paper roll for 5 people is not enough...
The design of the Hut / Chalet is beautiful. The view is amazing, right up to trinity church and snowy mountains. Balcony is very nice. The place was very clean and the host was available and provided what we asked (preferably in text messages that help with the language barrier). Location is decent, a few minutes walk to the town center, but the return in uphill so better with a car.
