Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSome of the food at the breakfast (fruit for example) didn’t seem the freashest. And it would be great if there was an iron in the room.

AzerbaijanThe location is central, close to all the city's attractions. You can go very well but can not return 😄 If you're with a baby, you'll have no choice but to return by taxi
The hotel staff was very helpful. David and Toma helped us find the bus on the last day, like family. The room was clean and comfortable. Georgian people are generally helpful, and they saw that I was with my baby and helped us everywhere.

United StatesFamily men in charge. Cash only. And just an odd ambience. My room seriously needs a paint job. Walls trashed. Nowhere to put luggage. Smoking, lotsa smoking by staff, right outside my window. Meh location in Tbilisi :/

GreeceIt was a little bit of dark because apart from the front door and the closeby window, there were no other windows on the other side to let the light and fresh air to enter the room. However, because of that, the room was cool, although the days we stayed there were quite hot.
The apartment is very comfortable. The hostess is super friendly and gave us detailed information and tips about our trip. Thank you Irakli!!

AustraliaBed was 2 singles put together, which is no good as it creates a valley and horrible for the back. Cars struggle to squeeze through the tight laneways.
Location is close enough to key attractions in Old Town. Just beware the hills of Tbilisi. Brekky was pretty good. Shower was solid and air con worked. Level 3 is breakfast room, but can also be used for tea/coffee anytime of day. Only stayed the 1 night, getting in late, so can’t comment much further.

GermanyThis might be slightly off-topic, but I strongly advise against using the shampoo provided. It caused a scalp allergy that lasted for several days. I would recommend suggesting to the owner that they consider switching to a different product or provider.
The location is in the old town surrounded by old local buildings. The room itself has everything you needed and is very clean.

United StatesWe loved that this was a family run business. The location is in a charming and safe neighborhood in old town. The breakfast buffet was incredible. There was different options every day and you can see the cooks working away every morning! Everyone was so friendly and quick to help if we had any questions or needs. They went above and beyond.

FinlandFrom the moment we arrived at Old Town Mtatsminda, we felt genuinely welcomed. Being offered a complimentary coffee or tea upon arrival when the room was not ready yet was such a thoughtful touch—especially appreciated after an early morning flight. That small gesture set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is hard to beat: just a stone's throw away from Rustaveli Avenue and the old town, yet tucked into a local neighborhood that feels authentic and not overly touristy. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city while soaking in the real Tbilisi vibe. The buffet breakfast deserves a special mention—so many delicious options to choose from, with something for every taste. And for those heading out early, they even offer lunch boxes to go, which we found incredibly convenient. Dining tip: Don’t miss Madame Margot, just a few minutes’ walk away. The food is delicious, the retro-style décor adds character, and the soundtrack is simply unbeatable. A real hidden gem.

HungaryThe streets in this historical neighborhood are so narrow and winded that taxis have a hard time reaching the hotel and you usually have to walk the last meters. Also the hotel is uphill from the main street which sometimes made us hesitate to pop back up due to the walk. If you have mobility issues or travel with suitcases maybe its not for you
the room was nice, clean and cozy, the street is very quiet and you're in a real historical neighborhood. Breakfast was EXCELLENT. They have a common room upstairs with a small outside balcony where you can have coffee and tea all day. LGBT+ friendly, when we stayed there there were only queer couples staying there for some reason, some with their kids, and nobody seemed to have any bad experience. The staff speaks English and let us store our backpacks when we arrived early.
