Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHad to get used not to have electricity at all times, but this is nothing to complain about.
Very cute little guest house, loved the balcony! The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Made friends with the other guests in the next door and the host was very nice and made great food. It was a simple place, which i really enjoyed...good value for money too

United KingdomReally enjoyed staying at games I guesthouse in adishi for 1 night on my mestia ushuguli trail. I asked for a vegetarian meal and was delicious. They also helped us organise horses for crossing and were grateful as by foot only possible on certain days depending on weather. You can also take horses directly from adishi to iprali. Overall GREAT stay

United KingdomThere was nothing not to like about the property, however it felt as though we were seen as an opportunity to make more money by dissuading us from our plans to spend more money on their services. If you are hiking to Ushguli in the summer, you do not need a horse to cross the river and you can complete the hike in two days if you are fit enough.
The hosts were really nice and welcoming, and cooked us a delicious hearty meal after a long day of walking. The hospitality was amazing and the house was very cosy.

Many Thanks - I'm very happy. There is a stunning view and picturesque surroundings - I already want to come back here. and the owners are so exceptionally friendly! There was a delicious breakfast in the morning. I am pleased to recommend Tomazi Gest House to everyone who loves beautiful places that are far from the hustle and bustle, stress and garbage of big cities. Just great!

NetherlandsWe arrived without anyone being home so we had to wait for an hour after hiking, there were hairs in the bed, waterpressure was low for the showers and a group of locals came to drink at in the guesthouse at night, making it impossible for us to sleep. The other guests got really drunk and were extremely rude when we asked them to quiet down at 2AM.
The mother in law cooked a lovely meal and was kind to us.

GermanyWe had a wonderful stay at Tamazi guesthouse! The hosts Ana and Tamazi are incredibly kind and welcoming. My favourite part was the beautiful terrace, the perfect spot to relax after a long day of hiking and to enjoy the stunning view. I also really enjoyed the delicious dinner. Moreover, the rooms and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. I would always return when in Svaneti - thank you!

Great authentic experience at Tamazi guesthouse. The house is basic , but very cosy and authentic with amazing views from the terrace where I chilled in a hammock. Beds are new and comfortable. I read from previous reviews there was a water problem in the village, however it was sorted on the day I arrived and it was all good!

AustriaAs we arrived we got to know that there is a water issue, so we didn‘t have any water to take a shower. According to the host that was just that day, but speaking to someone who stayed there the day before it was the same. We felt a bit cheated and got the impression that they could have told us straight away when we booked the place.
The host Tamazi was very kind, altough the communication was not that easy as he doesn‘t speak English.

SwedenThe hosts are super nice and kind! We arrived after midnight due to the mistake on the map we used, Tamazi has waited for us and made the dinner. The soup was very heart warming after a long 35km hike! It was also a big help that Anna speaks English well so we realized that our map was wrong after talking to her. Though there has been a water issue in the village, but they have provided alternative solution, so it does not affect much. It has been a pleasure!

The stay at this rustic mountain guest house was really pleasant. The house was clean and had all amenities needed for a short stay and the bed was super comfy. The views were amazing, friendly locals. The host has two horses, and for additional cost you can go horse-back riding. But most important that host Anna was very friendly & welcoming plus she speaks fluent English. It was amazing that I was able to pay by Revolut, it makes life so much easier when travelling in the mountains. Definitely would visit again. Would rate this stay 10/10

I loved the place, the kindness of Anna and Tamas (even if I didn't communicate with him as he doesn't speak English and I don't speak Georgian neither Russian but you can feel he is a warm-hearted person). Anna cooks delicious food with homemade products. The bed is comfy , and the blanket is warm and made of goose feather. Anna accepts different payment facilities such as Google Pay, PayPal, and Revolut. You just need to wire the money, simple and easy.

BelgiumA generous and welcoming host who made us feel right at home. The lovely (and very beautiful) dogs added extra warmth to our stay, making it even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable—I would definitely recommend staying here if you're passing through Adishi. You can also learn a thing or two about the region, as the host speaks multiple languages, including English.

United Kingdom- the water stream in shower is a bit weak - there’s WiFi but just from the owner’s personal hotspot, but our network coverage is ok too (we used Magti) - you might need to skip breakfast if you want to start your hike of Day 3 earlier because the breakfast is served at 8am
- really nice food, both dinner and breakfast. The host cooked some mushrooms handpicked by herself which tasted amazing! The meals from guesthouses in the Svaneti Region are usually quite oily, deep fried and salty but the food here is delicious and healthy. The bean soup was amazing too, its a local traditional recipe - comfortable room with heater - very friendly owner, she can speak perfect English which makes communication much easier

Germany- Dirty bathroom + shower barely working - Rooms were not cleaned before arrival - Rooms were not ready in the afternoon and I had to put my own sheets on the bed - Noisy building, you could hear everything from the kitchen downstairs - Loud music until late - Charged 40Gel for dinner, even though I didn’t eat much due to illness - Overbooking the property: Other guests with reservation had to go to another guesthouse or were put in a room together - I told Anna I was a feeling ill, and she did nothing to help. She forgot to put sheets on my bed. She didn’t make a tea or anything. It was disappointing, even though she apologized the next morning for the noise the night before, this is not the way to go. Consideration for your guests is not apologizing after the fact.
- Anna speaks English well - The food wasn’t too bad

United StatesThe host celebrated a birthday party and she became drunk. We went downstairs twice to ask her to be quieter (once at 10 p.m. and once at midnight) and she said there was nothing she could do since it was a celebration. She tried to justify the noise by saying Georgians celebrate loudly. I’ve lived here 10 years and this is true. However, I’ve also stayed at dozens of guesthouses here (some of which also had parties) and never been unable to sleep until this guesthouse. A host getting drunk on the guesthouse property is unacceptable in my opinion and a poor reflection on the Georgian culture, especially considering the host is a woman. When I asked for a full refund for the accommodation, the host offered a 50% refund, mentioning she must pay Booking’s commission (not my problem) and that we didn’t pay 10 gel for 2 cups of tea (literally one sprig of mint in each cup with boiling water—something we could’ve prepared for free by foraging mint in the yard). (We paid the full price for breakfast, which was not adequate in comparison to other guesthouses on the trail, and did not include any coffee.) The one shower in the guesthouse is in poor condition and needs repair. It’s clear the owners do not invest in their business to make it comfortable for guests. This guesthouse is clearly only interested in money and is a poor representative of Georgian hospitality; any average Georgian family would be ashamed of the service and conditions offered.
