Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Greecethe breakfast was rather poor/basic. The staff at the reception a little indifferent-not very eager to help us.
A peaceful hotel in a traditional old building.A perfect location to visit the old town and any spot of interest. A cozy room with balcony-full of natural light.

SpainMy noisy room
Although the rooms are quite nice, I was assigned a room next to reception, and it was noisy all night. I woke up more than once. I suppose sleeping on the upper floor is more peaceful.

NetherlandsUnfortunately there was no hair dryer. Also, no fridge so we had to use the balcony for goodies we bought (like cheeses, caviar). Luckily it is was cold outside, winter. Breakfast was OK, but some stuff was old.
Location is a gem. Right next to Tbilisi Old Town (Walking distance). Hotel itself is in a quiet street, so no noises. Very lovely, boutique hotel, beautiful balcony & stairs. Indeed like a mansion from olden days. Very warm. Perfect stay for winter times.

CroatiaTekla Palace is a small hotel with a fantastic location, tucked away in a quiet part of the city center. The little park in front of the hotel creates a serene buffer from the city’s hustle and bustle, offering a breath of fresh air right outside your door. Everything you’d want to see in Tbilisi is just a short walk away—it's the perfect base for exploring the city’s top attractions. Our room was small, but it had everything I needed and felt cozy. The hotel itself is in a charming old building, full of character and history. The staff? Wonderfully friendly and always ready to help. If you're looking for a peaceful stay in a prime location, Tekla Palace is an excellent choice.

CanadaNo elevator or common area such as a bar. Breakfast was not bad, but mostly the same everyday. Nothing really bothered us.
Excellent location, lovely traditional building, in the old town all interesting sites are within walking distance. Lots of food/restaurants all around. But still a very quiet hotel, surrounded by trees and a park, it was very peaceful. Daily housekeeping was always well done.

United Stateswe have stayed in the family room, and the extra bed was not the most convenient thing... I think nicer patio furniture would make the room cozier
The location is unbeatable: the perfect combination of being in the middle of everything and hidden away from the noise at the same time. The history of the place provides a unique vibe.

AustraliaFine for what it is. There may have been a slight musty smell in bathroom. My room had 3 skylights and only one had a blind so I got woken up early.
Only stayed one night during transit. Good location. Building has history and character. Lovely shared balcony. Allowed to leave luggage before check-in. Quiet room. Basic fit-out but had what was required, incl kettle. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Reasonable breakfast spread. Friendly staff.

RussiaOur room was super small. I can't say this is something I didn't really like and wasn't prepared for but sometimes it was a little tight for two people.
The hotel is located in a historical building which brings unique atmosphere to your stay. The huge terrace is available for everyone to spend warm evenings with a bottle of a nice local wine. The staff keeps everything super clean. We got our room cleaned and towels replaced every day. The breakfast was pretty basic but tasty.
