We enjoyed Dabo House it was clean, comfortable, and walking distance to small markets and restaurants. Breakfast was served daily. They also provided transportation for a small fee.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

Salifu and the rest of the Dabo House crew made me feel warmly welcome and helped me with everything I needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, the garden and birds lovely, the pool refreshing, the bed huge and comfortable and the food amazing. My best stay yet after 18 years of coming to the Gambia.

It is too far away from Sweden and I can’t go there often enough.

This is my favorite spot in the Gambia and really feels like my second home. It is comfortable, safe and clean. Staff is friendly in a professional way and will help you find a solution to any problem. Salifs food is always delicious. The pool in nice and clean. The neighbpurhood is safe and it is possible to mert locals in a relaxed way if you want. This time I travelled with my 8 year old daughter and she loved the experience.

We had the family room which includes a large king bed in a bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Fantastic AC in the bedroom but no AC in the living room so those who slept in the living room were not happy. It would have been better to have two rooms after all. this was not made clear Everything else is very good

Great welcoming staff, lovely pool to relax and cool down, fantastic breakfast including eggs and fruit salad. We were the only guests there as low season and staff very accommodating to our needs. It was the Euro championship final and they made sure some of our party could watch the final on tv. Rooms were very clean and well care for. Bedding very comfortable on main room. Swimming pool is small but very clean and deep so you can swim. They turn on the lights at night if you fancy swimming then Very convenient for local transport to local day trips and close to many restaurants/bars and minimarkets

The size of the bathroom is small. Similar to the cabin bathroom size on a cruise ship. There isn't a mini fridge in the room. Guests can use the communal fridge located in the outside dining patio. Not a big deal but for those that drive a car, there is only space to park maximum 3 cars in their gated court yard. They are located on a quiet street so cars can also park on side of road

The staff is friendly and respectful. Whatever we needed, the staff was willing to assist us. Our room was a nice size and was very clean. They do have a safe in the room. There was a window AC which I used at night. The breakfast they offered was made to order omelette, tea, coffee, the local made bread, corn flakes cereal, seasonal fruit plate. They also have butter, jam, peanut butter etc.. The pool is cleaned daily. It is not too big but it is deep. There are a few mini markets and restaurants within walking distance. We felt at home here and I would stay again.

Dabo house was a true gem. I truly believe my holiday was enhanced by my stay at Dabo House!!! I loved the location!!! The sunrise on the roof terrace was breath taking!! The staff were amazing - especially Mr Saleef who made our stay so much more comfortable!! He was always there to assist with advice and more! He made the best Ataya tea for us to drink!! He was a true and generouse host!!! I cant imagine staying anywhere else whilst on holiday to the Gambia!!! Having tea and talking to staff made me feel at home!!! They sorted out Taxi drivers at good prices for me! They even carried my luggage across the sand a few minutes down the road!!! If you want a lovely, authentic and safe experience then upon you is this Beautiful Hotel! The pictures they have up on bookings.com does no justice! The Hotel is suprisingly charming!!! The price was also incredible for what they offered!!! They had air con which I never ecpected at this price. They also had back up generator to keep lights on and fan incase of the untimely local black outs. 10/10 could not score any better!!! A truly lovely experience!!! Thank you Saleef and Dabo House!!!!

Loud music in the weekend night from neighboring bar, on the other hand weekdays were really quiet.

Dabo House is a sweet little hotel with plenty of character and kind, thoughtful, accommodating staff. It is convenient to shops, restaurants, and the beach, but in a location that does not feel touristy.

Dabo guesthouse is a Nice place to stay- big open yard with possibility to relax at the pool or enjoy the time with other guests or the staff. Very kind and helpful staff, assisting both in smaller and bigger issues . Very nice vacation altogether. We will return here again.

You get power cut sometimes but that is normal in the Gambia, and they have a generator in case of long power cuts.

We had a wonderful time at Dabo House. They are close to the beach, have a pool, free wifi, AC and a fan (for some hotels you have to pay extra for those) and breakfast was included. The staff was very attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is good because it is not the touristy area so you are not harassed by people trying to sell you stuffs.

Amazing little place, feels like a home away from home. Salif couldn't do more to make you feel welcome and adapt to your needs. The location is wonderfully peaceful but not too far from shops and other facilities. Would return in a heartbeat.

The pool was unsuitable despite daily efforts to clean it. And you can’t pay with a credit card, which can be inconvenient.

Sanif was a great manager—friendly and helpful, and always kind. And the accommodation itself was decent.

Dabo house would be a nice place to stay if the pool wasn't under renovation. I came on vacation but was staying at a construction site - lots of noise, dust, no hot water, just a big mess. I stayed there for one night, paid and left. Moreover, the boss reported me for not being there at all - a lie. It was impossible to be there.I don't recommend it!

First, the boss's attitude, which turned negative after my repeated complaints.
