For the price, convenient location and the great staff there was nothing we didn't like as it suited our needs and met our expectations well.

We chose to stay here mainly because it was close to where you take the Bodrum ferry, and we were more than happy with the accomodation since the location was quiet yet 5 mins to the centre of Kos Town. Plus the room looked out over the sea and had a balcony which was a great bonus. The staff, namely 'Paris' was a true gent and extremely personable which we very much appreciated. We originally planned to stay just one night since we were going to Bodrum the next day to stay overnight then return to Kos to fly home late the following day. But as we were having such a great time we decided to change our flights and returned to Kos to stay another night at the Achilleas Hotel Apartments to enjoy Kos town again before heading home.

Manager Mr. Paris was a very helpful, hardworking and gentle person. Hotel was few steps away from the ferry pier, close to everything in Kos town, you don't need a rental car if you plan to stay only in Kos town.

The air conditioning is designed to work only when you're at home with the card, which means you always come to a crazy heated apartment in the evening. Wifi works very badly, you have to have a data connection.

Ok for Kos. No luxury.

Very good location just next to Turkish ferry port and also it iş front of the sea! So you can have seaview and also Just a few step to the beach and fish restaurants. Literally few steps. Also 200-300 mt to the downtown. Good to stay for a few days or for a night like I did. Receptionist is so kind, helpful, funny and smiley person. I think his name is Dimitris.

A bit noisy outside on weekend nights.

Mr Paris, our main contact, was always very helpful and in good humour. So many good things are within walking distance -from pubs & restaurants to shops to beaches to Greek heritage.

It was too hot, air conditioner was noise and there was a street in front of our side therefore it was loud especially in the night.

The location is very convenient: close to the center, the port, restaurants, bars and shops, and the beach. The staff is very competent, helpful and kind. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped, also with a small terrace overlooking the sea, fairly quiet considering the central location. Strongly recommended!

Paris was very welcoming when we arrived, he was lovely and always helped and gave us great advice and recommendations. We enjoyed his conversations and company. His daughter was also very helpful and friendly. Stayed in a studio with a sea view - July 2023. Easy to find the hotel, is on the main road. Beautiful sunrise from the balcony early mornings. Nice view of the sea, harbour/ferry terminal, and beach - during the day and night. Can see the Bodrum peninsula in the distance. Nice and quiet neighbourhood, no disturbing noises from outside. Bathroom was a bit small, but you get used to it. The room was clean and had good facilities - storage, fridge, cool air conditioning, table, clothes drying rack in the balcony, etc. Good value for money. The location of the hotel was brilliant, you had restaurants, shops, cafes and dessert places right on your door step. There was also a restaurant opposite the hotel called Sofra, which served Halal food. We do recommend an amazing dessert place called Mr Serano down the road - his cakes and sweet treats are to die for! Excursion offices were around the corner from the hotel. We used the one recommended to us by Paris, for our day trip to Bodrum. The harbour is 1 minute away. Town centre is 5-10mins away. Main bus station near Old Town Kos is 15-20mins walking distance – can catch buses to the various towns in Kos island. Overall Kos is beautiful with lots of friendly local people and there is plenty to do in the town centre and island.

The place was quite old fashioned but it was OK for us, on the island we did not look for the luxury.

The location was perfect. We had sea view and the place was super close to the port. Kos is a quite small island and we had chance to walk everywhere. The kitchen was super useful also.

It was old building, needs to refresh.

The hotel manager, Paris and the hotel stufs were so friendly. The location of hotel is near the port and so close the old town city. We had an short holiday and when we come again hope to stay this hotel. If you want use new furnitures or smth else on your vacation Achilleas Hotel isn't given you that things you want but if you want to smiley faces and friendly people it is ok for you.
