Very basic, especially the shower room. Woke up to a flood in our room from the corridor….. Requested they book a taxi for us from the airport however it didn’t turn up & they then informed us it would be 45 minutes late. Took airport taxi instead.

The hotel is dated and needs a remodel or at least a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting in the stair way.

This is a basic hotel in a great location adjacent to the ferry terminal and within 10 minutes walk from the suburban train and metro stations. There is a market next door and numerous restaurants in the immediate area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is catching a ferry to the islands. The front desk is open 24 hours which is convenient if you are coming in late. I have stayed here many times and highly recommend this hotel.

Room was very small, the lift was up quite a few stairs from the front entrance and we struggled with our luggage and reception didn’t offer to help

It is on a busy street so if you mind the noise you might want to ask for a room facing other side. The noise is not too loud, but sensitive people will hear a bit of something.

Location is perfect, 3 minutes walk from the port. Hotel is old and a bit dated, but it is clean, and that is all I need. I don't mind the old tiles if they are sparkling clean. Value for money is very good. Stuff is kind.

I know that most European hotels are smaller than what we are used to in the United States, but this was a bit TOO small. We stubbed our toes on the legs of the bed several times just trying to make our way to the bathroom. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. We are not big people and could barely close the bathroom door (with 1 person in there!) BUT…for a one night stay, and comfortable beds, we managed just fine!

Great location, near port, near restaurants. Comfortable bed, great pillows. Quiet. Clean.

The room was a nice size for me and my girlfriend we had plenty of space. The property was clean and the lady that cleans the rooms did a wonderful job. Everyone working in the hotel was really friendly and helpful. It’s convenient located a few blocks from the subway station and the ferry. Also located next to Espresso yourself cafe which has the best customer service

Extremely close to the port, perfect for resting after a 9-hour ferry journey. The hotel was extremely helpful as I messaged them the day before our arrival, informing them we would only arrive about 4 hours before the specified check-out time, and asking if it would be possible to stay a little bit past said time. They allowed us to check out at 1 pm which was extremely helpful to me and my friend as we didn't have to spend extra money to rent the room for an additional night, as we would not be spending that night in Piraeus. Lovely staff

The WORST THING was that the hotel has got WRONG LOCATION on Google Maps!! We arrived to Pireaus around midnight, tired after long journey, and the Google Maps, when you write the name of the hotel Piraeus Acropole Hotel it takes you to another location, about 15 minutes walking further, where there is no hotel! Fortunately someone present there on the premises pointed us in the right direction, and said there were more incidents like that, people looking for this hotel at the wrong address. When talking to staff they showed that the hotel is listed on Google Maps under their old name! Acropole Hotel. That's not good for visitors, who don't know the area, and rely on correct information. The bed was creaking.

Very good location - close to the station and the port, nice size clean room, friendly and nice staff. Nice to have a kettle in the room.

Street noise and light filtering in through the window. The room was comfortable but small. But as an overnight stay it was okay.

The location of this hotel to the ferry harbour is its main appeal. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend a night in Piraeus while you wait to catch the ferry the next day. It fronts a busy street so if your room overlooks that street then it can be noisy.

The Aircon was pointing directly at the bed so we had cold air blowing on us all night and it was too warm without it on. Otherwise no complaints :)

We stayed here for one night before an early ferry and it was ideal. Very cheap, 5 min walk from the port, clean and nice staff. I put off getting to the hotel earlier because I thought it might be uncomfortable and not a nice area but Piraeus looked nice and there were lots of amenities around, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Staff very friendly and without being asked carried my bag to the lift. It was clean and comfortable and very close to the boats. Icon the parrot is still there after twenty odd years.
