We enjoyed a stay at the Aktaion Beach Hotel for 5 nights with 9 members of our family (covering 3 generations). The rooms were beautifully designed and well appointed. They were spotless when we arrived and were kept that way during our stay. We decided we would have dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night and enjoyed excellent service from Altin. In fact the food and service were so good that we had most of our meals at the restaurant and were never disappointed. The hotel has many facilities to offer, but for us the real stand out was the excellent and friendly service. In particular, Zina and Altin made our stay one of the most enjoyable we have ever experienced. The whole family agree with this sentiment. We had a lovely holiday and were made to feel most welcome.

Our stay at the hotel was amazing! It is a family-run hotel, beautifully located right next to the beach with its own sunbeds. The room was great and was put together lovely with lots of love for details. The women running the hotel was extremely kind! When we arrived she upgraded us to another room with a nicer view! Unfortunately my friend got sick during the holiday but the women was so quick to help to call the doctor and Taxi for us. She also delayed our check out time so we could go to the doctor and did not have to worry about that and even let us have the room until the late afternoon for my friend to rest comfortably. I can thus not only recommend this hotel for the great rooms, location and views but also because the family running it was so extremely kind. We will be back!!

No uber on the island so plan your transportation before you go or walk 2 km down the ocean side road which I'm not sure I'd say not to do this its beautiful!

Unique 2 story room with hot tub inside (although we would not do that again in warmer months as it made the apartment a little hummid) The staff was super accommodating and the food was delicious. The rooms were spotless and beautiful with modern fixtures, a balcony and quite refined. We spent two nights in two separate rooms since we choose to spend and extra day. First night included a hot tub that was neat but inside the "apartment" would definetly choose a room with an outdoor tub if we return again. Zena our hostess was great! Terrific food in the area and the hotels food was fabulous. Thanks for a great stay!

Almost nothing. A bit of a smell in the bathroom at the end of the day and if you don’t like cats … avoid the island (but we do love cats).

Very friendly staff, nice facilities and outstanding location. It’s ideal for families with children. Breakfast was very good for vegetarians (could be a bit better for vegans).

The room was listed as a suite and actually was not a suite, but a bedroom with a separate space for shower and sink and toilet. Suite generally means a separate seating area. The room was very small. Perfect for one, not sure about two. Being on the front was wonderful because of the view, but loud because of loud, laughing hysterical tourists from the restaurant below as well as music coming from the adjacent hotel and restaurant. If you stay up late, this may not be an issue. I didn't sleep well because of the noise.

I loved the quality and choices for breakfast as well as the setting of the hotel and restaurant. The room was very clean and well designed. I had the room on the corner front and enjoyed having the light coming in from two sides. Sitting on the balcony in the morning before everyone was up was my favorite time. The hotel was very reasonably priced. Zena was great.

The hotel has a great location with a very nice sandy beach nearby, perfect for children. The stuff is kind and helpsom. The hotell restaurant is recommended with a large variety and very tasteful dishes. The rooms are cleaned daily. It is a good choice for families
