We had an excellent stay at this charming countryside resort. The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation – very quiet, surrounded by nature, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city but at the same time with easy access to main roads/highways. The staff were absolutely wonderful – warm and friendly,They made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Traveling with two kids, we especially appreciated how kind they were with them. They always took the time to offer them little treats like chocolate or crepes. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of both sweet and salty options to suit every taste. Everything was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The infrastructure is excellent: the pool and facilities are very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape.

There was no clear check out time on the website, so we had to ask at breakfast. The pool was looking a little green in the corners.

Small resort with only 4 rooms, tucked away and close to vineyard, a small pool and a large breakfast. Room was large, well presented and clean, bikes available to use - which we used to the vineyard and back.

Just for reference, Google maps sent us through the village of Alagni with its tiny roads, but you have to stick to the larger road just outside the village.

George and Sofia are wonderful hosts. Food portions were very generous at the on-site restaurant. Fabulous views of the mountains and surrounded by olive groves.

George and Sofia are fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome and comfortable at their resort. The property is gorgeous, peaceful, and surrounded by olive groves and incredible views. The villas are spacious, modern, comfortable, and have many amenities. Sofia is a wonderful cook and made a delicious breakfast and dinner for us during our stay. It was truly a wonderful experience to stay here and we would absolutely stay again.

If you are eating off the premises, Archanes is the best option but it is a few minutes away.

Upon arrival, Sophia treated us to some homemade lemonade, then George helped grab our bags and showed us to our beautiful villa; Large and comfortable with a great deck overlooking the countryside. Toiletries & slippers in bathroom were appreciated. We elected to have dinner made for us the first night and it was delicious and plentiful! Then shared some raki with our hosts. Breakfast the next morning was excellent….enough that we didn’t need lunch any of the days during our stay. Read for a couple of hours poolside each day- quiet & relaxing. George and Sophia are warm, generous, hardworking and fun to converse with. They did everything possible to show us and tell us about the area and culture. We started out as guests but due to our interaction over the few days, we left as friends. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your villas and treating us as special guests. Your friendship was a highlight of our trip!

I liked everything.

I really loved how they built the houses and made them look like they were old. The surrounding is amazing, a little bit uphill and the view is amazing. The stuff was so nice - the owners were so friendly and available. The breakfast was really good (and abundant) and they also made a vegetarian version for us.

It would be good if the towels was changed or refreshed every 1-2 days. To attach holder for the shower hose in the bathroom. Change hair dryer because for women with a lot of hair it's struggling.

Perfect welcoming even at 10 pm. The owner checked us in, provided everything I asked in advance. Great full breakfast, nice touch with pool towels. I had my bridal preparation there, great location for the photos, me & my husband truly enjoyed it.

Great accommodation with extremely friendly hosts. The breakfast (and optional dinner) was overwhelming, both in terms of taste, quality and quantity. Both hosts are very child-friendly: our children felt comfortable and were pampered: a high five in the morning, pancakes as breakfast, a little surprise during the day, ... The cottage itself was extremely clean and well groomed. An absolute recommendation!

The only issue we had was to find the place with google maps, we were first sent to the opposite side to a complete different house. Indication could be improved. In addition it is stating that there is a gym, but there is just few equipment outside at the pool area, which is not really usable anymore as it got damaged by rain.

The apartments are very nicely furnished and super clean. On top it is very spacious. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, water cooker, oven, fridge, etc. - Breakfast in the morning is always freshly prepared and very abundant. It is perfectly located in a very calm and silent area, so perfect for relaxing and winding down. Also, some vineyards are just around the corner. Knossos is a 15 minute drive and to the airport of Heraklion it is only 25 minutes.

Excellent, stylish and up-to-date accommodation, in a calm and pleasant setting, conveniently located for Heraklion, Knossos and eastern Crete. Good sized and clean swimming pool. The owners were extremely accommodating. Excellent Cretan breakfasts.

Super professional, modern, neat, clean and yet super friendly husband and wife run. A quiet hillside setting with excellent views of the mountains, olive groves and vineyards, sunrise and sunset. Nice evening walks through the olive trees. Over-the-top breakfasts. 15 min away from Knossos.

We were looking for an authentic and v peaceful break - and this certainly delivered. About a 30 minute drive from Heraklion, it is a quiet and unspoilt location. The hosts, Sophia and George, were amazing - they met us on arrival, Sophie cooked an exquisite (and huge) meal for us that evening. Everything locally source and absolutely delicious - served with attention and a lot of wine! Breakfast the next day was equally impressive - and so continued our stay - amazing food, drinks and hospitality in very comfortable and well-considered accommodation. There is a small gym in the grounds and a good-sized pool and relaxing area. Would definitely recommend if you want to get away from it all and relax

The road should be signposted, we really hesitated at the end, going up a steep road in the middle of the dark, not sure where it was leading to. Some of the garden is still under construction and at the same time, some things are already broken. It leaves a touch of unfinished work, but it doe not matter given the hospitality.

We stayed in Crete for three weeks and this was the best welcome and service we got. We arrived very late and still got a small bite and drinks, and good company every day! George and Sofia are really attentive hosts! Breakfast is very good although not varied. Dinners are superb but you‘ll need to be very hungry for those ;-). Of course the villas are nice too.
