Amazing place, in the mountains of Pelion. An absolutely gorgeous guesthouse, the breakfast is sublime, and the scenery is magical and enchanting. Mrs. Mairi, the owner, is lovely, as is everyone else working at the guesthouse. Exceptional experience, we would gladly stay again.

There is approximately a 200m steep road in order to reach the place. Not sure if a different access can be provided.

We loved the kind hospitality, the cleanliness, the spacious room, the delicious breakfast, the pool and all amenities offered at the place. For sure we will try to get back there as soon as possible!

Our stay was very short

We stayed at Amalthia Traditional Guesthouse for a few nights and it was one of the best places we've been to in Pelion. It’s quiet, surrounded by nature, and feels like a real escape. The host, Meri, is kind and welcoming. From the first moment, she made sure we had everything we needed and more. You can tell she really cares about her guests. The room was spacious, clean, and had a lot of character. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom felt modern, even though the whole house kept its traditional charm. Breakfast was amazing. We had bread, jams, cakes, and a few local surprises. It was served outside with a view and was different each day. The pool area is calm and quiet, set among trees. It feels private and perfect for relaxing. The location is peaceful, just outside the main village, but close enough to reach the beaches or walking paths easily. The road up is a bit steep, so a car definitely helps. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay in Pelion with a personal touch and real hospitality, I honestly recommend Amalthia. Would go back without thinking twice.

At the beginning there was a faint smell of cigarette in the room.

Amalthea's hospitality felt genuine. She is friendly and pleasant. The property is lovely, very comfortable and well cared for. Her home baked bread and cakes for breakfast every morning were outstanding.

A charming, intimate and particularly luxurious hotel. The host Mary was charming and with a great desire to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is located in Tsagarada which is a central and convenient place for star trip in Pylon. The hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Amalthia Guesthouse in Tsagarada! The room was incredibly cozy, and the fireplace was already lit and waiting for us, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally polite and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a wide variety of traditional, homemade dishes that were simply delicious. This place is a true gem – 10/10, highly recommended!!

The fireplace in the room could have ventilated better, perhaps the chimney was a little blocked when we stayed.

Six perfect days in Amalthia Guesthouse!!! A unique and quite place in the heart of Pelio. The staff made our stay unforgettable. Always there for us with a smile 😊There is no need to say anything about the beautiful decorated rooms, the cleanliness…the tasteful handmade breakfasts … the lovely relaxing drinking nights next to swimming pool etc…We wish we had more time to spend …but we do hope one day to be with you again.
