The hospitality was exceptional. The lady and her family were very accommodating and friendly, making us very welcome. The apartments are very spacious and well-equipped.

Everything was good. The beds were fine some people might not like a hotel room with two twin beds but I’m solo traveler.

The owners are wonderful, friendly, kind. It’s very picturesque hotel. Perfect!

The bed was too springy (could feel them through the bed) but apart from that.... every else was great.

The staff were lovely, welcoming and super helpful. The apartments were close to the centre so easy access to the beach and shops.

I am so sorry to have to mention it, but like it is the case very often, the issue with people that they just do not respect the silence hours...At 23:45 in the night, music full power and at 05:30 in the morning the TV as loud as possible...And the worst of it all, I was told that the guy was a ...policeman!!!

The kindness of Mrs Margarita, the mother of the owners, who did everything to please me. She gave me another room after the two first nights, because of some noisy neighbors. And she kept for me the new room also after my coming back from Kasos.

The bathroom was a bit outdated.

We had a very spacious room with a balcony. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen area was fine but the cupboards were not super equipped. We had to ask for two glasses but they were provided quickly. This place was convenient to enjoy the town and parking was fine.

We arrived to a friendly welcome, offered Lemonade and Greek sweet. Our apartment was large, with sea view, it was well stocked, should you wish to prepare meals. The apartment was cleaned daily except Sunday. Maria was very helpful, giving advice on best places to visit on the island and helped us arrange car hire, at a good price. We enjoyed our stay at the Amaryllis, you are close to shops and restaurants, you can walk from the ferry, providing you do not have too much luggage, the hotel is on an incline, should you have difficulties with mobility. Karpathos is a lovely island, with stunning scenery and some beautiful beaches.

Everything was perfect!

I loved my stay at Amaryllis! The apartment was super clean, spacious, and really comfortable. I had a great little balcony with a sea view that was ideal for watching the sunset. What made my stay even more perfect was the genuine hospitality of the owner and staff. The owner, Mrs. Margarita, was the sweetest! Every day she brought sweets and fruit to my room. When I saw her she always checked in to see how I was and if I needed anything; water, coffee, more fruit or sweets. Maria, who works at reception, was also such a genuinely sweet and kind person. I made mess of my reservation and she was so patient and helpful and got it all sorted out for me. She was also great about checking in with me and was always available to answer my 101 questions. Such a warm and welcoming place. They make you feel right at home!

Clean room with balcony and kitchenette, close to the port and city centre. Comfy beds. Receptionist Maria was very kind and helpful. Margarita, the owner, greeted us with Greek sweets almost every day.

Mrs Margarita, the owner, is the definition of "φιλοξενία" or "filoxenia". She will please you in every way that she can and she will surprise you with her kindness. Overall the hotel is excellent in terms of value for money, location and hospitality. Room was also extra big (actually quite large!), making our stay very comfortable.
