Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNothing. All was Wonderful!
The location was Great! Only a minute walk to town and breakfast. The breakfast had a Wonderful variety of foods from eggs, fruit, breads, danish and other goodies. The beach was a minute walk and you could find some secluded places if you walked a little further. The staff was Wonderful especially Catherine! She provided me with information about the island. I took a Great bus tour of the island at her suggestion. The bus was a minute walk from the hotel. Restaurants were easily within walking distance and the food was delicious. The pool was clean and the location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

GermanyHard mattress in bed. Beds in our room was not comfortable, definitely not a good setup for young children.
Breakfast was provided by another hotel, but it was great. Quiet room is depending on the neighbour. We really like the hotel manager, explained everything to us, and made good suggestion what to visit. I would go back to this place again.

United KingdomIncluded breakfast at the Santana Beach Club felt a little limited / basic - this was a minor detail and didn't affect the overall stay however.
The location was perfect, a few metres from the beach. Katharina was fantastic, providing us with a whole host of useful information as soon as we arrived, making us feel immediately welcome. Highly recommend this hotel!

GermanyThere was some issue with electricity in our apartment. However I do believe it was only a temporary problem which will be fixed. I personally don't like steel frame beds.
Katharina was a very nice and helpful host and available during the day. She had good tips for us and organized whatever was needed. She takes time to welcome her guests :) Nice pool area, good since apartment and bathroom. Arrangements with surrounding hotels for services she cannot cover e.g. breakfast in Santana beach bar with sea view.

United KingdomThe location of this hotel and the service are its greatest assets. We were welcomed after a long journey with a smile and refreshments and given a little overview of where we were and how to get about. Our room had everything we needed but to be honest the area of Aggia Anna and Plaka are stunning so we spent little time in the room itself and mostly on the beaches which are the best we have found in Greece. Naxos town is nearby on a frequent bus service but the local vibe and restaurants were fabulous- we didn’t have a bad meal for the whole ten days we were there. The highlight for me was the restaurants on the beach where you can watch the sunset. It’s such an easy, breezy place you will find it hard to match its charm.

United KingdomNothing! Anything we wanted within the hotel’s control was quickly provided. We just wish we could have stayed longer!
We absolutely loved it here, and know you will do too (ignore the grumpy people who say otherwise, they are WRONG!). Could not have found a better location for everything - no need for a car - and Katerina was a real delight as our host. Such a pretty looking hotel in the day and at night time (when all lit up) and only a short walk to Plaka as well as to all the beachside restaurants and bars. Good value for money, always very clean (especially the pool), no issues with wifi and we had a great welcome on arrival so we had a good plan for our stay. We already cannot wait for our return trip next September, really highly recommended for your Greek island adventure!

United Arab EmiratesThe showers are a bit compact and you end up messing the whole bath due to the design and space constraints (design flaw). But the housekeeping provided us with a mop on request. Breakfast provided was the same everyday. (Feedback to be provided to Santana beach club) Would be nice to have free parking available. They have a space opposite the hotel but charge for parking.
Great location just off the Agia Anna beach. Can walk to Plaka and Ag Prokopios beach (approx 10-15 mins) Rooms were very clean and housekeeping conducted everyday. The hotel managers Katarena and Peter were very hospitable and helpful with sharing information of the island, restaurants and resolving any issues we had promptly. They welcomed us with a homemade lemonade, Katarena made us feel like family and treated my son really well. Breakfast is hosted at Santana beach club in the mornings just down the lane.

IsraelHave to pay for parking Beach club breakfast was not great
It was a really great experience. The location is truly excellent. It felt like we were right at the heart of everything, with easy access to all the attractions the island has to offer. The standout, though, has to be the staff. They were not just accommodating but genuinely friendly and knowledgeable about the island. It was clear they wanted to make our stay as great as possible, offering tips and advice on the best places to visit, which really helped us make the most of our trip. The rooms were comfortable and clean, providing a nice space to wind down after a day of exploring. All in all, I would definitely recommend Hotel Anemomilos to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay with a great location. It was a refreshing experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for my next trip.

United KingdomThe only bad thing about my stay was that it was too short. I wish I could have stayed longer!
The hotel manager Katarina was wonderful! She was the highlight of my stay at Anemomilos - so welcoming and friendly and helped me book a boat cruise. The hotel was lovely and quiet. I really liked having my own balcony to sit out on (really nice in the evenings when the sun had gone down and it was a bit cooler). I travelled to Greece hand luggage only, so appreciated the nice toilietries that were supplied in the bathroom. The beach is only a 50 metre walk away, as is the nearest shop and the bus stop where you can catch the bus into town - so it was all 100% easy and stress-free.

A beautiful small hotel. Breakfast at the sea front Santana was a stunning location overlooking the beach. Our family room was clean and bed comfortable, good aircon and a lovely walk in shower with pebble decorations. Katarina and staff super welcoming and helpful. Beautiful pool, we all enjoyed and nice luxurious loungers and bean bag chairs. Pool spotless cleaned overnight every night by pool robot! Moments to the beach at agia anna, small supermarket, car rental, bus stop, and plenty of cute eating places by the beach. A lovely stay, we were reluctant to leave for our next island!

Our ten day stay was amazing. The apartment was great with two balconies on the 1st floor over looking the pool, they were cleaned daily. The location is amazing, 50 meters from the amazing Agia Anna Beach and very close to the other beach’s either way. The pool was great and never crowded. The highlight was the lovely Katarina who really made our stay with recommendations of places to go, places to eat and dealt with anything immediately, nothing was too much trouble. Sad to leave and will definitely be back. Steve, Kate & the girls.
