Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Smoky smell on the room floor, difference between upgraded room and regular is noticable

One of the staff members (room service ) was very rude with frown face and very bad attitude. She used bad language. When I complained to reception they did not even apologise. Her bad behaviour reflects VERY poor customer service.
Location wise it’s good.

There was a lot of noise in the morning coming from the cleaning lady outside the room. We woke up hours earlier because of the noises. + The bathroom was extremely small.
The port is so close to the hotel. Helps if you’re travelling by ferry early in the morning.

Double room was rather small and had a small shower- Toilet too. Heating didnt seem to work properly. Wifi range was bad also. hallway is narrow resembles to a train and room doors are about 1m distance from each other . You can hear your neighbour laughing or talking anytime. Cleaning maids were very talkative at 7 in the morning . Generally you will not find a good high class hotel in Piraeus . If you want more better find a stay in Athens .
These are actually 2 small hotels combined with 1 entrance. Argo is the most renovated one. Location is good if you want to catch a Boat to an Island . Metro stations are about 1km away . Hotel staff is very polite and friendly. The hotel offers a parking space for your car.

Very small elevator and it was exactly next to our room so we heard it all the time. The water in the bathroom was either too hot or too cold and was coming out poorly..
The staff were very friendly and polite. The mattress was comfy and the terrace was big and with a nice view.

We had booked for parking, but the hotel parking was full, so some nights we were circling the back streets looking for a place to leave our car. Shame we've been coming to this hotel for over 10 years first time we've had a problem like this

Having stayed here over past 20 yrs the hotel has gone through significant up grades but the one mistake was to put in a full wash basin in bathroom when a corner type would of been better the full basin restricted your movement in bathroom so would only rate it 8/10

The city itself was not great. There were a few places we enjoyed, however, overall it is a "port" city, which is what we expected.
The location with easy parking was the reason we picked this room. It is easy to get too and the parking is monitored by camera. Staff were very helpful. Access to ferry was super easy which was our main concern. I would recommend if you are looking for a room that is not too fancy, however, has everything you need, safe parking and easy access to port/ferry.

Parking is a bit tight (though the staff does help with it, if you leave them the key). Some stairs before elevator. No kettle.

The rooms are VERY small. Not a problem for a short stay (I was there one night, by myself), but for longer stays, especially for couples, it’ll be cramped.
Very clean, comfy bed, staff was friendly, and the location is excellent for catching the ferries. The add-on breakfast was good value.

The main overhead shower was broken.
Great location for the port of Pireaus. The room was quiet, and although basic was Ok for an overnight stay and for the price paid. Additional charge for breakfast, which provided a good choice for the cost. The reception organised a taxi to the airport which was very much appreciated.
