Any hotel manager who sees the sorry state a visitor is in, having travelled for hours - and then hands you a beer - free - unrequested - with a "You need this more than us, rates EXCELLENT in my book. I'll be going there again. (Oh and the hotel is marvellous by the way.)

Amazing property and such a surprise! It's exactly three minutes from the ferry dock. Has an amazing all you can eat breakfast. For later in the day, the neighboring cafe serves crazy good pancakes, coffees and omelettes. The hotel is bang in the middle of the town center, and ideally located for lazy afternoon shopping or a late night return from dinner or drinks. Super clean, super friendly and amazing value for money

The room overall is quite small. Both of us kept bumping into the corners of the bed. Our window was out onto the main street and so it was noisy until late at night and then quite early on in the morning. The shower room was tiny too. The pre-booking rate was higher than the daily rate on arrival.

Good basic room. It is nicely decorated in light blues and greys. The hotel feels smart on the outside and in the communal areas with lovely plants and stone decor. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of local food options.

This boutique hotel was located just a short walk from the ferry port and located in the Old Town. The rooms were all with boutique styling, clean, comfortable and good bathrooms. All rooms are located on the first floor and my room had a lovely large balcony with seating and with views down onto the main shopping street below All of the common rooms both on the first floor and ground floor were all lovely, well furnished and relaxing to stay in. Breakfast was served in the restaurant downstairs and you ordered from a menu. Great choice for breakfast. All staff were very friendly and helpfull and professional. Good value for money and would recommend to all.

There was a slight smell in the courtyard, could have something to do with the plumbing?

The room was a good size , we also had a very large courtyard area to utilise, as well as a small balcony off the room which overlooked the square below and over to the hills beyond the port. Just a few minutes walk to the ferry terminal and right among the charming laneways of shops and restaurants of Paros. Charming Greek styling, very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was perfect, order whatever you like from the menu - hot and cold, table service, eat in the courtyard overlooking the square. We skipped lunch most days as we enjoyed a range of eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit - and it was delicious.

Because we travel with many video/photo equipment, to be able to have enough sockets in the room is important for us. Unfortunately the sockets in the room were insufficient and impractical. But still manageable. There are no mosquito nets on the bathroom window or balcony door which is a bummer. During the breakfast, every morning, the music that blasts from the café next door, really kills the atmosphere. What a shame! Lastly, the cleanliness of the room was sadly somewhat enough but mediocre. The cleaning lady needs to be much more aware of the details and be through with the cleaning, especially in the bathroom.

The location is perfect! You can easily walk from/to the port or enjoy a stroll through lovely streets and alleys of Paros. Promenade is also just a stone's throw away. As well as restaurants and lovely boutiques. And the great thing is that you still will be able to get a good night's rest! The interior of the hotel is fabulous. Our room was also comfy and had a partial sea view from the balcony. The room, especially the bathroom, was not that spacious but that was no problem for us. Be aware, the breakfast is not an open buffet. But being patient and easy going pays! Everything was tasty and fresh. The coffee was great. And the lady who takes the orders and serves the breakfast, was working without taking a breath in between and still she was always smiling. The staff at the reception is kind and ready to help you before and during your stay. For example, they helped us making a reservation for our anniversary dinner before our arrival. Thank you very much for everything!

The hotel is pretty much the perfect place to be on Paros. Two minutes from the ferry, in the center of town yet absolutely quiet and calm. The building has been renovated in a careful classic fashion. Every detail is done with care, e.g. the windows are brand new and keep out any street sounds, plus there are solid shutters to keep out the light. You can walk around in in town, go to the local beaches or to take the bus to another village, all right from the hotel. The breakfast is outside in the coffee shop, with many different choices. The staff is very friendly and helpful Just a great place to be when visiting the island.

They only give one key and reception is not there 24h, bit of a hassle to separate with your travel companion. The rooms are a little tight but it's not a big issue.

The location next to the port and next to the small centre Parikia, and the overall hotel interior is adorable. Restaurants downstairs are yummi and practicable, really cute place to stay in and great value for money.

    Nothing in particular.

Situated in a very convenient location, Argonauta hotel is definitely an option while staying in Paros. Two minutes walking to the port if coming on a boat, and several public parkings around the area if hiring a car. In the middle of the shopping streets, in a charming alley. Clean, spacious Lobby, the breakfast was yummy, and the waitress was so nice. All in all a very good choice.

When a ship arrived to the port, the room filled with the smell of exhaust, if we kept our windows open, due to the hotel's proximity to the port. But I guess this is a problem if you choose to stay in Paroikia in general.

It was a lovely, really modern hotel and we were very pleased by our stay. Breakfast was full of greek products and very tasty. Decoration was minimal and tasteful and it is exactly as shown in the pictures. The hotel is close to the alleys of Paroikia, so it is very easy to stroll in the evening without being concerned of where to park your car.

Wifi never went out it was just stronger in different places- not the end of the world at all.

Wonderful location close to many shops and restaurants - close enough to walk to beach! Staff was so nice and helpful. Also the breakfast every morning was delicious!!!!! Room size was a little tight but really all the space we needed - awesome patio with bistro set. Also the common area was beautiful and peaceful to relax in.

No bad experiences at the Argonauta.

On our September trip to the Greek Islands, I tried to find lovely and interesting places to stay at which were within walking distance of harbors and ferries. We did not want to be bothered with renting cars, hiring taxis and depending on hotel transfers to and from ports. The Argonauta was one of those places...it did not disappoint; in fact, it was much better than I expected because our tastefully decorated room with a balcony was large with good air circulation (there is air conditioning but we did not need it) and it was perfectly located at the entrance to Parikia, the old town of Paros near the harbor. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious and substantial: the Greek yogurt with fresh fruits and honey resembled a sundae; there were equally fresh eggs and a choice of sides to vary the daily menu. The Argonauta's breakfast tables are located across from a century-old bakery and pastry shop which made for great people-watching to begin the day. Take note shoppers: the Argonauta is also located near some of the best design and accessory shops in Parikia.

Traveling solo can take more energy. The Argonauta is close enough to the port and more quiet for its location. I felt relaxed and well cared for. It's web images are spot on. This is a well designed modern hotel with a beautiful canopied common area to sit, read and share time with other guests if desired. The Argonaut is family run. The staff is communicable and wants you to be happy so they are available for you. The breakfast that is offered with your stay is healthy, delicious and generous: fresh squeezed juice, fresh local eggs, creamy yogurt honey and fruit. The best stay I have had since traveling Greece for a month!

Breakfast: though products were of good quality, service was very poor, up to 30 minutes to order, dishes like ham or cheese missing for three days... Very fresh welcome adds to the experience. Simply non professional but it is outsourced!! The hotel is fantastic but must definitely change this.
