Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe inn is located in a small village and there are some homes very close by, one of which had a barking dog. It did not bother my wife and me, but my sister was awakened by it in the night. It was not a big problem, and lent an air of authenticity to the charming little village.
Archontiko Soulitioti is a wonderful country inn in the village from which my wife's grandmother left for America over 100 years ago. The innkeepers were wonderful, the gentleman even stopped in the taverna where we were eating dinner to ask if we were ok, and telling us that he was going to the next village, but would be back soon in the event we needed anything. The lady was very friendly. The rooms are simple and rustic, but tastefully appointed. The bed was comfortable. The entire building was spotless, and in perfect repair, despite being 200 years old. The breakfast was delicious. The view from our balcony was great, and made us feel as if we were truly in another time. The village is very charming, but drivers should be prepared for very narrow streets.

GreeceThe floor in the room was dusty and had a few blond long hairs which was unpleasant to see. The bathroom was rather tired with alot of lime. The bed was ok to not very comfortable. There is absolutely nothing on offer to snack or drink being offered except a very simplistic breakfast plate.
Couldn't believe there was this nice destination at the end of kilometres of farmland. The air was wonderful the archondiko was pleasant, the sitting area for breakfast was very nice.

GreeceWe booked the Junior suite, unfortunately the room had 3 extra tiny small windows dug into the thick wall located on the top of the front wall, so the room felt like a prison cage. Do not book this room if you are claustrophobic. There are other choises in the property that are not like that. Didn't sleep during the night because of this, too bad, this should have been mentioned on the room description.
Great breakfast, nice view only during the breakfast

Beautiful set up at the top of a cute village. There is a great view from the terrace. The beds were nice and firm. The breakfast was impressive. We are very glad to have made the detour to spend the night.

United KingdomAmazing stay. The views from the property and it’s courtyard are breathtaking. The hotel is full of charm with its historical features. Breakfast is excellent with homemade Greek specialties, sweet and savoury, Greek yogurt, eggs, bread. Great choice of wine and coffee (including iced coffees which is perfect on a hot day) Manager and staff were super kind.

RomaniaWeak soundproofing, children in the neighbourig room were playing. The drain in the bathroom was clogged, and washing hands filled up the sink. Really weak lighting in the bathroom, with the shower curtain pulled, it was hard to see. Wifi was not working, but we didn't bother asking them to fix it, the would have probably fixed it to be honest. (it used outdated WEP encryption and neither my laptop, nor my phone couldn't connect to it, I even tried using fixed IP address to no avail) The breakfast was miserable and a complete dissapointment compared with the rest of Greece (mostly bad elements but some were pretty tasty): - One cooked egg which was fridge-cold and it had also the eggshell still on with some chicken poop mixed with dust and some hay (more in photos). - Half of a ham slice, half! While it was pretty okay it was the only meat on the table. - Same size cheese slice. - Some kind of puff pastry with a special cottage cheese inside (probably). Sweating oil all over it. Cold... Not so tasty - Normal portion of: Greek yoghurt - Small portion of: marmelade, honey (probably mountain honey with propolis still visible in it, really tasty: the best element, in my opinion.) - 4 small bread slices for 2 people. (might not be enough before an entire day hike) - Freshly squeezed orange juice, tasty. - A single apple. So in essence, this was highly dissapointing as in greece we have never experienced anything like this ever. The food was always top notch there, except for this instance.
The room was pretty okay, with a small balcony. Air conditioning was pretty nice and cooled down the room in the summer heat to a confortable 25C. There was a small ladder and a "secret" sleeping spot above the bathroom, which really added value to the room. Families with kids will have fun in this particular room. Old massive greek furniture probably fit for a museum. The staff was friendly, but only one person knew english which was mostly enough.

AustraliaWhilst finding it can be challenging, it's absolutely worth the effort!!
Nestled into the side of the mountain is this quaint and historic village with its narrow and character-filled cobblestone streets, and within it is this amazing hotel, with stunning views across the valley below. This wonderfully rustic, historic, and beautiful little hotel offers old-world charm and hospitality in spades, and our room was amazing. Wow.
