Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The surrounding area can look a bit dubious, especially at night. Getting to Monastriaki square and the Psyri restaurants is quite close (5-10 minutes) but involved traversing some very graffiti covered alleys with dilapidated buildings. That’s just what some parts of Athens looks like.
Location was convenient. Reasonable price. 24 hour front desk very helpful. Provided some amenities - toothbrush, disposable slippers.

It is a bit old and not as clean. The bathroom drain was clogged.

Small bathroom
Very accessible and easy to find. Clean and cool rooms with a small balcony to get some air and look outside. Friendly staff especially Constantinos T who was very welcoming and helpful in navigating transport links and finding restaurants.

The water went everywhere in the shower and the curtains were mouldy, the body wash they provided was already half used so we threw it out, the location wasn’t the best and definitely didn’t feel safe walking on the street. Room was quite small and we had ants in our room, Breakfast was not good at all and overall the hotel was quite scary.
The room and balcony were fine and it was okay for a short stay.

Specifically rooms 57 and 58 have a very very small bathroom to take the shower. Around 30 inches by 30 inches also didn't has a place to put the soap. Difficult to take a shower. Breakfast was served at 7:30 so is to late for tourists that have trips to take earlier. We lost three breakfasts.
Room was clean and the staff were very nice.

The breakfast was a bit boring, no fresh fruits on the buffet, but it was almost complete.
Location - near to almost tourist spots. Staff were nice and friendly. You can see Acropolis on the terrace.

Breakfast menu is the same everyday( I stayed for longer period).
- Staff responsiveness and behaviour - Location - Room Size It’s a small family run hotel with no fancy but all basic amenities in place. Good location and very clean.

The area isn't the best, a first time visitor might get a bit worried, but I've been a few times and there are some nice bars and restraunts close by

Poor breakfast, cleaning staff not leaving enough towels in the room, lift keep getting stuck so we had to walk down the stairs to get to the breakfast area.

The hotel needs urgent renovation, especially the bathrooms, almost impossible to take a shower. The elevator was not working most of the time Breakfast was very basic, could improve quality over vatiery

The room AC never chilled the room because the electricity is turned off everytime you leave the room.There are very empovrished areas nearby and did not feel safe walking at night.
The hotel is less than 20 minutes walking to the main turist center near the Acropolis. Greek markets are also nearby.

We let the reception know that we are leaving before breakfast at the check-in, we asked if possible to have something to take with us, however, they were not very considerate, so our breakfast included some dry cookies, and 3 small croissant which was a big disapointment.

Bathroom is very small old and some equipment is broken. Very uncomfortable. No balcony. View to a noisy construction sight. Hair on the floor. The room was not properly clean. Surrounding streets are not safe at night.
