We stayed here one night. Room is clean and tidy. Hotel has its own beach. If you have car you can park easily. The breakfast is reach too.

Beds for me were a little too hard. But that’s it

The situation is probably the best spot. Leafy oasis just a 4 minute walk iether via the beach in your flip flops or you can take the ‘tourist shoppy’ road walk amongst soo many super markets and all sorts. Dont bother sticking up before- you will find everything you need here for a bargain. Dont pack it! And travel light. Avra hotel has parking on a mini grassy area under trees right next to the hotel. It has books and restaurant that in fact ( after only finding one really good restaurant in Nikinaka / panazalis ) this secrect hotel offers and. Wet nice supper in a lively spot. Staff were amazing too

if you are staying at the hotel the sun beds should be free. Guests should have first option especially if you are spending money at the taverna.

It is a wonderful place to stay. traditional Greek taverna and the staff are amazing. our 2nd time here will definitely be back.

The only area that could be improved would be the sun loungers, which could be more comfortable to better support all-day recreation.

The door in the bathroom was small and didn’t allow for a lot of room , apart from that everything was fine.

Amazing location. Right on the beach. The food at the Taverna was delicious. Friendly staff. Let us check in early. AC could have been better. Also feel that if you stay at the hotel the sun be should be free. (0nly 5€ though)Only stayed 1 night though, so can’t comment on subbed availability. Overall would highly recommend. Very good value for money.

Location fantastic. Right on the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (charge applies). Short walk into Nydri and restaurants/shops. Breakfast good and plentiful.

Location, staff, breakfast all excellent. The only negative is €15 euro charge for 2 sunbeds everyday!

A hidden gem. The never quite know how it’s going to turn out but this was a find! Great location, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. We even managed to be given a sea view room.

Should not charge for hotel guests to use sun beds. Could use room key as proof of being a guest.

There was nothing we could fault

This is the 2nd time this year we stayed at the Avra, we could not fault it .It was very clean and towels provided daily and clean bed linen every 2. We had a great room with a sea view which we requested when booking and we were not disappointed. It was a 5 minute stroll into the lively bustling town of Nidri. The breakfast were excellent and provided for every taste . The staff were very friendly and approachable at all times, the beach bar and restaurant were also good value and excellent service....we will return again to this hotel next year .

Taverna was lovely but if you wanted a drink or food had to go into Taverna to order. My brother in law was asked to to enter taverna because he is wet and had to wait to dry before coming in to look for what he wanted to buy. Beach chair service may be helpful as well as more snacks for offer as you can’t take outside food into the beach or hotel.

The property was beachfront which was great! Rooms were clean and a beautiful setting with loads of trees for shade

Nothing to report about the hotel. Was disappointing to have to pay €5 each to sit on a sun lounger - would have rather paid extra on the room rate and shown my key rather than have to scrabble around looking for the cash to pay the attendant.

Great location right on the beach. Simple but good room, comfortable enough, and sufficient for a beach holiday stay. Nice buffet breakfast spread. Great taverna attached with good reasonably priced food and drinks. Family run business and all staff were always friendly and welcoming.
