Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomVery few problems. As some others have commented, the rooms could do with some updates/maintenance in places but nothing that detracted from our stay. We had a specific problem which surely many travellers face: our daughter has a severe nut allergy. Sadly there was no labelling on menus so we had to enquire with every meal, as which point we realised that the staff don't understand much about allergies either. They don't understand what is in their food, where it's come from or the difference between contains / may contain / trace etc. This made each meal time far more stressful than it needed to be. If only the menus (or dishes on the buffet) were labelled properly we would have saved a lot of staff time and a lot of stress. Come on guys - this has got to be easy to fix!!
Practically everything was superb. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The range of facilities and choice of places to eat is good. Service was exemplary. There is a private beach with hold & cold running service on tap - what more could you want?

United KingdomThe rooms were quite dated and need renovating, the food needs a bit more quality and variety with more Greek dishes.

GreeceIt was beginning of Oct the weather was very nice however their pool was freezing. We paid a lot for the stay and part of what we paid for were facilities such as the pool we did not get to swim not one day. They should have heated ot at least a bit. And on top no one was swimming so mich it was cold so that was a bummer. As for the indoor pool it s not really a pool it was a jet pool for the spa and very small we ended being all crammed in there because the kids wanted to swim. And the second thing was we ordered room Service one time. Delicious desserts. Then went to have dinner at the hotel restaurant after we cane back to our room we find that the room service have come and cleared all the plates without us asking for it!! That was not ok to have our privacy broken like that I did not appreciate it a bit.
Great location beautiful hotel and sweet staff.

United KingdomThe bathroom was really disappointing, there wasn't a shower, which in this day and age seems very strange, and we didn't want to wait to fill the double bath as it took for ages. Why couldn't there be a shower head holder on the wall? I can't for the life of me fathom why there isn't somewhere to hang the bath towels when they are wet, and it would have been nice to have a net curtain to pull instead of having to pull the blinds in order for my wife to have a modicum of privacy when getting ready.
The staff were lovely, the facilities were excellent.

AustraliaThe salt in the pool was too high with many guests leaving with sore eyes and unpleasant taste in mouth. Being from Australia and living with salt pools I can tell you this was extreme and unpleasant.

LebanonNothing per sei, however the beach is a bit far from the family rooms but the shuttle service was very efficient. also , the hotel is situated in a very calm area, if you are looking for activities for kids ( other than pool, beach and grecoland) you’ll have to drive for 45-60 min to the city.
We had an amazing stay at grecotel cape sounio, the location is magnificent, the greenery is so relaxing , the staff was so helpful, friendly and very responsive for all our queries on whatsapp. The food is tasty. All in all we had a blast!

United KingdomThe room and the bathroom for me was a let down. For such a luxury boutique style hotel, the bedrooms were too small (We had a superior room). There was no separate shower, the shower head was in a sunken bath tub, that is nestled at the back in the corner. The hotel has lots of ground space, so I recommend they renovate and update the bedrooms ( which are slightly dated) and extend the bathrooms. The evening buffet was extensive but the lack of vegan/vegetarian options became an issue after the 2/3th day of eating the same thing. Lots of salads were on offer, but the chef would add meat to them, which made them a non-option. One of the restaurant staff members offered to make my son and I moussaka one evening which was okay, but having 1/2 other options would have been nice.
The resort was simply amazing! After spending 3 nights in busy Athens, it was lovely driving down the coast to Sounio. The hotel is nestled away in the mountains and the views from the resort were stunning. Check-in took a while as they were busy, but the welcome drinks were a nice touch as was the bottle of prosecco in the room. The staff were super friendly. The star of the hotel was the Kids club - Grecoland! The staff - Maria, Foteini, Elisa and Konstantinos were the most amazing, patient, friendliest people I have met. They were great with the children and made great effort to really get to know them. The activities on offer were excellent, they had outside companies that came in to to pottery, laser tag, and various other activities like cookie making, snorkeling. All four staff members deserve recognition for the hard work they do everyday.

United States of AmericaThe check in procedure is pompous and slow. Would much rather have a regular counter check in. Our room and bathroom had several problems, the entry door lock, the safe, the bathroom. Room not up to 5-star category for sure. Desperately need renovation. Accounting department also problematic. Couldn’t process my credit card initially. Final bill in envelope had a strange extra charge slip attached although they said there is no such charge upon inquiry. I will have to check my credit card billing. Buffet dinner more appearance than taste. Didn’t even include soft drinks or table water.
Location is good. View is awesome. Hotel is beautiful with view of the Temple of Poseidon day and night, as well as the sea. Breakfast is good. The staff member who handled our room problems was courteous and effective. Private beach area is lovely.
