The sushi bar could of been a bit more robust with the offering. The roles were basic and if you're going to do that offering, i'd suggest a deeper selection than standard rolls with tuna or salmon.

From check in to check out, the Hotel Contessina was amazing. Polite and accommodating staff were everywhere, including the cleaning folks, bartenders, pool staff, check in desk, and servers. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and the AC went to a cool level, which we loved after those hot days. The showers were large with rain shower and a powerful handheld jet, if you liked that option. Each evening, turn down service was exceptional and the fruit or sweet plate hit the spot. The most surprising and touching part of it all was the parting gift we were given during our check out. It was a bottle of olive oil and two jars of marmalade from the Contessina farm. A handwritten note thanking us for our stay with them seemed out of place in that it felt we should be giving them a gift for all the warm hospitality. The only knock is really the town itself, which is a matter of my personal opinion. The good is that the ATV rental place is right across the street so, if you're into that, it was very convenient. The town itself felt a bit like Cabo on spring break. Many bars and cheesy places to go to. The restaurants weren't that unique and many had the same menu items. We didn't venture much out of the hotel and it's, by far, the best property anywhere close to where it's located. Decent walk to a very crowded beach. Overall, an amazing place to stay in Zakynthos!

Room with direct access to shared pool was great - interior design, set up, pool was amazing. Breakfast was outstanding. Good selection of food and drinks at pool bar and restaurant. Very friendly staff.

The only thing that could have been better was the cleaning of the room. Our terrace was not cleaned every day. The children ate and the crumbs remained on the terrace for several days. Cleaning the room also took 10 minutes.

We chose a room near the edge of the pool. I don't regret paying a lot for it. We were like in paradise. we could swim in our own pool instead of looking for sunbeds near the communal pool. We could dine on our own terrace. If you have such an opportunity, then be sure to book such a room. There were 3 of us in the room and we were very comfortable. In general, I liked the hotel very much! The staff is very attentive. The system for using the application on the phone is very convenient. You can order food and drinks near the pool, order coffee in the morning during breakfast and many other functions.

We received an upgrade to a Suite with private pool and garden. We were so lucky.🫠 It is a great location and all the facilities were 10/10 . The staff 10/10 , so nice and helpful with everything. The breakfast was sooo good, so much variety. Congratulations to all of them. And thanks to all for our AMAZING VACATION.❤️

The only downside is for us. The location is a little far from the most beautiful part of the island, and there is no ocean view but if you’d like to stay in a resort, I don’t think you’ll find nicer.

The property is very impressive even though it is not situated on the ocean and is not in a favorable location in our opinion as far as nature goes, but it does make a big splash as far as the quality and well located amongst the very touristy area in Zakynthos. everything in this hotel is very high-end, as well as the level of service linens. Shower furnishings are all super modern and the breakfast buffet is extensive and delicious. We used it as a base for part of our trip to zakythos, and would recommend it if you don’t mind being away from the most beautiful parts of the island, and want to spend a lot of time going out and not in the nightlife or near the airport.

Unfortunately the water in the pool was ever so cold. I had a room with private pool, I regretted it because I couldn’t make use of the pool, which was really sad. Even with the weather being warm , the water was too cold.

the safe and room telephone didn’t work properly. the roof garden restaurant food was average and slightly overpriced

the staff where lovely, and super helpful. We got upgraded to the private pool room which was exquisite! the bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Panos was amazing :)!

It’s not the property per se, we weren’t much into the loud bars and touristy restaurants around. Felt a bit much, and was extremely loud..

The entire staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in, until we left, from the front desk, the bars, restaurants, housekeepers, were all wonderful!
