Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomFood here definitely wasn’t 5* worthy. We wanted to have half board but the first night we did, we did not feel it was worth €25 each, the quality wasn’t great and after paying for drinks on top it just didn’t seem worth the money, so we ended up eating out nightly where there was plenty of restaurant choices, whether that’s in the town or nearby. Also breakfast, although quite a good amount of choice, just didn’t keep hot, quite often it would be cold, like the eggs for example. It was a bit outdated to be honest, rooms need freshening up. The shower was a terrible pressure and didn’t stay in the same place, always fell loose. The levels -2 in the hotel smelt awful of damp, just needs to have a very good refurb. Toilet was right up against the wall which didn’t give you much room, just a terrible design.
Lovely hotel with great views of the runway. The room was spacious, nice size balcony. Staff were friendly. Great parking too as we hired a car. Nice grounds to walk around and great access to the beach. Reception was great at anything needed, service was good.

United KingdomThe communal toilet areas on minus level one and two were too dark. The walls and surfaces were dark marble and the lighting was poor. The lighting was automated which often left you completely in the dark. There were no handrails from the pool area down to the toilet facilities. The pool ladders were very difficult to use, the first step was far too steep. Entering the pool by the steps was also difficult as there was no handrails for people who are unsteady on their feet. The food in the restaurant was very varied but the meat in the hot section was overcooked. We asked reception how to change the subtitles to English as there were no channels in English. They said someone would come but nobody came. Level two was very smelly. I went to the beach area and was hurt by the little fish in the water. I bled badly but luckily there was a resident who was a doctor who was able to help me with the help of the first aider who needed help with the situation.
The location was good. You were near the bus stop which took you to Corfu Town and Mouse Island was easy to walk to. The airport was only a little way by taxi/car. The staff were very helpful and polite. The evening entertainment was varied. The hotel garden was beautiful and the view of the lake and mountains were stunning.

IrelandNot enough sun-loungers for the amount of people staying in the hotel. Airport runway located beside hotel which was very noisy but did enjoy watching the planes taking off and landing.

United KingdomThe decor is looking tired & in need of updating. The pool is busy with not enough sunbeds. €100 for late checkout feels excessive.
Good location for airport & has everything you need on site. The bus to Corfu town stops outside.

United KingdomIf I was being overly fussy I would say the hotels beach could be a bit better maintained but that is being maybe a bit overly critical, just trying to think of an answer to fill this box really 🤣
Had a lovely room with an amazing view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool area. Breakfast was included in our booking and was pretty good, no more no less than what you’d expect from a hotel breakfast buffet really, plenty of selection there.

IsraelMinor inconveniences but I'm not sure why the hotel doesn't offer queen size or king size beds, the rooms are spacious enough to have them but for some reason I could only get a room with single beds. Shower unit could be modernized to self contain the water instead it overflows a bit on the bathroom floor when you take a shower
Staff were very helpful, everyone was friendly. Reception staff were very helpful, Marie at reception was very patient and friendly, and helped us a lot plan out day trips in corfu and helped with logistics and advice. Views over the cliff to the ocean and mouse island were stunning, beautiful location in general we loved to go to mouse island at the sunset. Hotel very spacious and clean, very well maintained.

United KingdomI can’t say anything springs to mind of something I didn’t like. I would say possibly the communal areas on each floor by the lifts could do with new carpets but apart from that it was tiptop..
We were lucky to have an absolute amazing view from our room which couldn’t be faulted. The hotel was obviously very fashionable in its heyday. Decor wise it hasn’t been touched for a long time but it is kept well cleaned and actually I don’t mind it being old-fashioned as it reminds me of holiday in the 80s with my family.

United KingdomThe hotel staff could’ve been a little more friendly and approachable. I’ve marked down a score for this and I encountered 2 large insects in the bungalow which unsettled me. The main pool is salt water which some may enjoy but we were glad to have the private sharing pool to escape the salt water. The lift to the beach is questionable but direct access to the beachfront was brilliant and once in the lift it wasn’t as nerving as it looks. I did notice the hotel and grounds weren’t very accessibly friendly as my child has mild mobility issues. There were no available loungers at the main pool area so I was glad of the bungalow to relax.
The hotel is literally a stunning palace and perfect for a luxury mini break. On arrival I was very impressed with the grand entrance and help from concierge who carried my suitcase to my room. I booked a bungalow with private sharing pool and it was exceptional. The welcome goodies and added extras were a nice touch. With sliding door straight out to the private pool with a view of the sea and mouse island, it was luxurious. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, huge selection of food. Dinner buffet was also reasonably priced. Cleaning staff were very friendly and went over and above to help. The private taxi service is very reliable and reassuringly safe.

IcelandNot much to complain about, we were close to the airport but it really did not bother us at all. Our room was close to some machine that was turned on every morning at 7.40, but it did not bother us much thoush.
As family of four in one family room we had a great experience at the hotel. Service, room and overall experience was really nice. We loved being in one family room and usually it was very easy to get place around the pool. Overall service was fantastic.

AlbaniaI didn’t like that the cleaning was not done every day, the beach towel organization was poor, and this time the service at the restaurant was not good.
It was my third time at your hotel. There are plenty of areas suitable for families, and the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. I will definitely come again — I really like the environment. It’s very close to the center, only 7 minutes by car. The rooms on the ground floor, where the shared pool is located, have a damp smell, so I won’t book those again. I have stayed twice in the villas, which are more beautiful, but it’s difficult to book them on Booking.com. Even though the hotel is old, I still like it a lot.

AustriaThere was a power shortage on the 10th of August , there was no information or even a short call or notice from the reception . I was wondering what happened and unfortunately my son was sick at the moment , it was scorching hot and the power shortage lasted like almost 2. 1/2 hours . I went outside to ask somebody , I asked one of the housekeeping staff and he told me that the reception called him and said it would take like 20 minutes and the power supply would be back. It wasn’t . I was disappointed.
