the hotel is very clear and cosy, welcoming staff, there is a comfortable double bad, tableware, free hygiene items and air conditioner, free parking 300 meters from the hotel, town beach 100 meters away.

Some things to consider: - the hotel is on a hill and you always need to climb stairs to get there - getting there by car was a bit of an adventure as a lot of streets are one-way and too tight to fit a medium sized car in - the walls are thin, if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs

It was very centrally located close to the Kitroplateia beach and not far away in walking distance to the center. The room was basic with a reasonably sized bathroom and even a bathtub. The A/C worked well and the balcony even though small can be used to sit but we mostly used it to dry our beach stuff. Has a lift to the upper floors. Good value for money, it was by far the cheapest accommodation we found and even though it was basic we weren’t spending much time in the room anyway so it suited our needs. Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful!

It wasn’t the properties fault. But to attain the beautiful views the hotel has a high position (to be fair as do a lot of the properties in Agios Nikolaos due to its layout) but this meant an option of really steep inclines or between 40-60 steps depending which route you took to and from the property which I personally found difficult in the hot temperatures.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The apartment was very spacious. The views from our room were second to none.

This hotel was beautifully positioned , having a spacious balcony overlooking the sea.5 minutes walking from the beach in one direction, and the town in the other. Very well equipped kitchen with microwave/ coffee machine, in fact all you could need. The owner was a lovely lady, who did everything she could to make my stay enjoyable ( even lending me her specs when I couldn't read the small print!) and she was a brilliant conversationalist. So - a huge thank you!

The tub shower installation was not ideal. It would have been nice to have a separate shower head rather than only the hand held, plus a better shower curtain.

we appreciated having a full kitchen and a balcony with a view. Rooms were spacious and the location was excellent, walking distance to the lagoon, restaurants and a few small beaches.

The hotel is hard to find and requires navigating your way up steep, narrow, one-way streets. As it is located on top of a hill and one must walk up steep stairs or harbour access road. It is not a good choice for anyone with mobility.issues.

The room is a good size with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable twin beds with nice linens and pillows. The bathroom is spacious with tub-shower combination and counter with sink so room to put all your toiletries. We had a very spacious deck with a small table and 2 chairs and view of the sea above the roof tops. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We found parking on the street in front.

The bathroom had neither window nor ventilation, so after showering it would be very humid and the room started to become a bit smelly.

Friendly stuff. Great view on the see from the balcony. Very nice little beach only 2 min from the hotel.

Excellent,extra confortable beds! Nice,clean apartment with just perfect sea view ( from balcony due to elevation you have feeling the sea is just under your feet). Staff was so friendly and helpful! Huge thanks to Kaya the receptionist for help with my bookings of tours around Crete and other stuff! :) Alison and Bernadete are also great, we always had nice chats where I got lot of useful tips what to see,where to eat etc :) For solo traveler this really means a lot! Probably the best hotel I' ve been so far in terms of hospitality! Also,amazing location- quiet street, not in any of harbours and far from noise but close to downtown, shops,tavernas... Simply great :)

Very nice Apartments in the Center of Agios Nikolaos. The Staff ist very friendly and helpful, free refil of water bottles ist provided. Great breakfast is served in Tavernas close by, e.g. at the city beach.

We stayed 2 nights at Creta Hotel and it was amazing! We booked the room with a sea view and it was exactly like on foto ! Very kind and helpful staff and close to the port and city center with a lot tavernas where u can eat local very good food (and if u ask at reception they will recommend u some :)

KTEL station is quite far - about 20 minutes of annoying walk, especially with luggage. A problem of KTEL rather than the hotel, but something we might consider when planning the next trip to here.

Slightly uphill, but anything in Agios Nikolaos kind of is, and the area itself seemed to be one of the best locations in the town. Although very close to the centre, the area around hotel itself is quiet. Fully met our expectations for the price category. Spacious room with some self-catering facilities (although we didn't need or use them). Few of the most sensible eating place we managed to find during our stay are right next to the hotel (head down the steps or street eastwards), can really recommend them (and advise to avoid eateries around the lake).
