The only negative thing is that they did not clearly inform us about how to return the keys. There was a lock on the gate and we couldn’t get out. The lack of instructions almost made us miss our flight.

Well equipped apartment. Very good location in the city centre. Modest breakfast included (white bread, butter, marmelade, eggs, pear/apple, orange juice. Complimentary water and wine was waiting for us.

Apartment was a bit dirty, and run down. Breakfast not fresh. Our apartment matched some of the pictures, but apparently there are more; the setting for us was not as represented so for us it was disappointing.

Perfect size for a couple plus a baby (they provided a crib), elevator, great location on a quiet street but near city center, friendly host. Most of all the balcony has a perfect view of sunset.

Church bells were lovely, but loud! Noisy city sounds as people out and about all hours

Close to shops, buses and short walking distance to top tourist sites. Lovely view over the city. Vibrant feel.

The manager needs to communicate better. We had received nothing from him by checkin time at 3pm, despite messaging him a number of times, and were left stranded outside the apartment with no way of contacting him. Luckily, a woman came along and called him for us. Many tourists, like us, do not have local sim cards, so information needs to be sent ahead of checkin time.

Using normal soap instead of liquid soap, and not being able to flush toilet paper were annoying.

I think in sommer the apartment might get very warm because it is in the last floor. There was no shade at the balcony.

A spacius an cosy appartment in the center of Iraklio with a nice terrasse

It says in the description that parking is available. This is a bit misleading for those who search specifically for that feature in the filter. There is valet parking available close by at €15/day. The parking for €5 is 700m away.

Location, location, location. The apt is an ideal basis to explore Iraklio in a cool part of the city. The rooms are basic but clean and equipped with most of the things you need.
