Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe place smells really bad, probably there’s something wrong with the plumbing in the bathroom. We kept the window open throughout our stay and bought a scented candle to make it a little bearable. There’s not enough natural light and it’s quite noisy. It wasn’t very clean. The bed was small and quite uncomfortable. All in all, currently it’s not worth it staying there more than one night, even if the price seems reasonable.
It’s located right in the city centre and it’s easy to park on the street. The price is reasonable.

IsraelI do not expect much for twenty-something euro per night. It was just on the way to somewhere else. But I certainly would not have rented the room had I known there would be a stinky smell (plumbing, probably due to having been long unused) until I aired the room as best I could, or got used to it; nor that it would be so very bare, almost nothing to make your stay even a little bit homely; or that the bed would actually be a single bed (perhaps a slightly wider single bed, couldn't say) and uncomfortable; or that any cars/motorcycles coming or going or starting up nearby will resound in this flat which is at street level, or rather has a window up on one wall which is street level. So: if you are a low on money and strong on sleeping ability, and all you want is a place to lay your head for the night - wouldn't recommend more than one - go ahead, it will be worth you while because a/c is a must in Volos in the summer, and the bathroom & hot water are fine. Otherwise be warned that it is not a cheering experience. I also had some trouble with the coded key picking-up because the owner doesn't speak English nor me Greek, and in the end when I got to the building I enlisted the aid of a passer-by (there are two coded key holders in the building, btw; if I remember correctly hers is on the left), but this had to do with the fact that I had no mobile connection and could not whatsapp or google translate, so I think with these there'd be no trouble with picking up the key.
air condition works well, bathroom/shower is ok & clean and there's hot water. Also a small fridge.

BulgariaIt was impossible to unlock the entrance door with the key provided. Every time I came back to the apartment I had to wait for someone living in the building to open. There is no hot water - the host told me I had to let the water run for 20minutes before I could get warm water which is out if question - time consuming and wasteful. The room smelled like very strong cleaning product. It's underground, with no natural light and noisy.
I liked the location of the place.

CyprusThe apartment as apartment is a room, comfortable for one person, with tv, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, table with chairs and a single bed: the bathroom is a typical bathroom in an old places. The location is in the center, just 5min from the main shopping center, 1min from a supermarket and 25min from Ktel bus station. The owner is friendly and you have a good communication with him.
