Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

i really don't have any complaint about the place. it was perfect. if i try to work hard to find a problem, i would say that only one elevator sometimes (in the morning if a big group leave) causes "traffic" (5 minutes waiting) problem. but it is really neglectable
great location, great team. Mary, Iren and Lucas in the reception helped kindly with every question i had. Tatiana from the cleaning helped me kindly and immediately if i asked for something. There was a problem 15.4 evening with the remote control of the television, and 5 minutes after i called the reception it was fixed. Amazing service, well done. About location: it is only 5-10 minutes walk from Acropolis, 5 minutes walk from Plaka, and 15-20 minutes walk from Monastiraki one minute walk (kavalotti street) there is a great resturant names "El greco" with tasty, traditional, and not expensive food. In addition, there is "Dive" cafe across the street. They prepare amazing coffee

I wish I had known the roof garden was closed -- it's one of the reasons I booked there.

The hotel is one of the finest I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. It is aesthetically pleasing and well-designed. The staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating. The location is ideal and convenient. I highly recommend this establishment.

Everything was great from start to finish.
Terrific location! Beautiful lobby and super friendly staff. From manager to reception staff the service was incredible. Something you do not see these days. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb! Coffee was very good as well. Added feature was an upgrade to view the acropolis from our balcony.

We did not get to say Goodbye to the wonderful staff who initially helped us book and taught us the Greek phrases… they were not on duty when we returned to Athens for our stay.
Loved the delightful staff we met who taught us some Greek phrases and helped us navigate Athens! Beautiful hotel, lovely amenities, yummy food! My Aunt did leave an outlet plug either here or at Acropolis View Hotel… would like help to get that plug returned please. Thank you!

Almost close to perfection!!!
I must say that I am a big fan of this hotel… Since the first time I stayed there I was simply surprised by the warm welcome and extra care of the client. Particularly the reception staff is very dedicated to solve any problem, also they have a nice word for you even if you check in very late at night, that is quite uncommon in other hotels with the same rating/stars where they are just “professional”. Rooms are clean and spacious and if you ask you can book rooms with a view on the Acropolis. Rooms have balconies and you can sip your drink in the fresh air of the night admiring the Parthenon right up there to your left…and take wonderful pictures. Rich breakfast with a choice of international and local specialities. Which, by the way, was offered as as a complimentary extra for our loyalty to the structure. Also we found in the room a nice fruit basket and a bottle of wine along with a card from the Staff Manager. This is what to expect when they really take care of the customer, especially if you are a frequent guest of the hotel. Thank you to all the staff. Me and my wife can’t wait to visit Athens again very soon an of course, stay at the Divani Acropolis again!!!

The room size is good value for money and we understand for such location it must be expensive for this hotel.
The room has view to the Acropolis with amazing scene for night view and day view. Also, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Irini and Natasa from the reception. They helped us to find the times for the boats to the islands near Athens and they gave us welcoming drinks.
