Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

KuwaitThe stuff is friendly but the service quality wasn’t enough comparing to the rank and the price, but this is common in Greek islands. They told me that there is a taxi station in the port through Booking, but there wasn’t! The communication with the guests must be improved.
The design, the location, the Blue Flag beach, the sea view. The village side view. The shops square in the village side. The spa (I did facial and massage). The toiletries brand. The breakfast. The Greek night show. That it is the biggest resort in the island! They upgraded my room to the village side!

TurkeyThere is no room service because room telephone was not working.Even I spoke with reception they did not fix it and they didn’t bring even bottle of water during our 5 day stay There is coffee machine at the room but coffee capsules were not refilled (House keeper lady said that every room has right to have one capsule ) Hotel has interesting beach towel policy. You have to use towel for 2 days with old fashion towel card . Sun beds were not clean But one of the worst thing that it makes me very sad .Breakfast was finishing at 10:00 am and my daughter want to took one cookie from breakfast restaurant at 10:05 and waiter is not allowed and she said that breakfast is finished !.I could not believe this behaviour
Good location, amazing hotel concept especially we stayed village room and they were amazing. We liked concept of the rooms which exactly looks like village town houses Hotel next to see and sandy beach .Little windy but clean and nice beach

TurkeyWe stayed in the villa type room. Although the room size was a bit small, it was enough. But the extra bed for the child in the room was very uncomfortable. It was almost as hard as a stone. It should not be used as a bed. We conveyed this to the reception, but we could not get a result. Even in our room, there were separate single beds and a very hard extra children's bed (definitely not a bed) in the room given to us when there should normally be a queen bad in our room. We conveyed this to the reception, but we received the answer that we do not give queen bad when there is a child. It did not suit this hotel at all. Also, the bathroom in the our room is seriously leaking. It would be useful for them to give a hand to the plumbing.
First of all, the hotel is very good for families with children. The hotel's landscaping is very good. You can come across historical ruins in the hotel. It is a very beautifully decorated hotel. The location of the hotel is very good. You can even walk to the bazaar. The beach is very good. Breakfast is above average. It is adequate. As a result, although there are a few bad experiences, the hotel is quite good.

TurkeyThe breakfast lasted until 10am which was quite a push some days to be there early enough in the end it’s holiday.
Doryyssa is an excellent resort, location and having it’s own beach is great. Village rooms are wide enough to stay with baby (with the crib). The ambience of the hotel was really nice. Breakfast was good.

AustraliaThe reservation manager Popi was the most inappropriate and rudest staff member to represent this property. She put a bad taste in our mouth from day one. Extremely rude and condescending. The manager on the hand appeased us and was happy to hear our complaint and work it through. The management at Doryssa really need to teach Miss Popi some hospitality do’s and dont’s. Manoli who worked at night was the epitome of the type of staff they need. Bravo Manoli
Location was good. The resort has had a renovation on half the rooms. The main areas and corridors need some work. The staff mainly were average.

ItalyThe staff was not ok for such a property. They think that they are funny, making weird jokes which makes you uncomfortable, asking money for the towels (which is normally free), saying that they will give you free drink bc they like you. Nobody was helping me while i was searching food for my baby at the breakfast. The property looks like it is children friendly but not baby friends for sure. I was almost begging to get at least a banana for preparing my babies food. They were very helpful and smiling to the European customers but not to us….. As a family and 3 other families that were traveling with us, we are very offended and not happy about their attitude.
Having it’s own beach is great! Rooms are wide enough to stay with a baby (with the crib) The ambiance of the hotel was really nice Food was tasty

United KingdomIncredibly noisy around the pool due to all the kids, it would be great if they could use some of the massive gardens to add an adults only pool - would make a huge difference, we ended up going to the beach most days as the pool gave us a headache which was a shame. It was also very expensive for what it was, i think it would be more of a 4 star than 5.
Breakfast was great, lots of choice but it got very busy and they were constantly running out of things like juice, more frequent top ups would definitely help. The beach and the sun loungers on the beach were great.

United KingdomThe rooms in the village were beautiful from the outside, but basic and dated on the inside. Showers weren’t very well designed and the breakfast only lasted until 10am which was quite a push some days to be there early enough - it’s a holiday! Seems really strange that you have to pay €3.50 per day for a sun lounger each when you’re paying this much for a hotel resort and the beach area is managed by the hotel? Also, no fault of the resort but being next to an airport means through most of the day there can be noisy planes but these stop at night!
The beds were comfy, breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, staff were so friendly and helpful and just a short walk into Pythagorio for dinner each night!
