Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. There was some noise from the neighbours late at night. The smaller bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Owner was lovely, we messaged when we arrived and he was right there. Complete kitchen with large fridge and freezer. Coffee/tea and other breakfast amenities. Large area. Very comfortable beds. Water on arrival. Nice parking right outside. Near the shipwreck beach. Terrace view to garden was nice. Shower was good size and bathroom was clean. Microwave in kitchen.

The bathroom area could be roomier, that is something lacking in many places in Greece, but ok, other than that all good.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. Very well equipped, comfortable, lovely balcony, nice location in between Gytheio and Glyfada beach, kind hosts. All good.

Nothing, everything was great.
Everything was perfect. The location was really quiet among olive tree and flowers. The apartment was really clean, the terrace was great. The studio was really well equipped. The owner is really nice and take care. I recommend. The location is great to Magne cap.

The shower was too small, but I can't complain because it was shown in the pictures.
The apartment is very nice, with nice balcony. Very well equipped. Private parking in front . The host was nice and print us an important documents we needed.

A really beautiful quiet place just outside Gytheio. The apartment was really big with a super spacious patio. The owner is really helpful and kind.

Would have liked a washing machine.
Flawless stay. Perhaps the cleanest apartment I ve ever seen. Very good position. Comfortable accommodation. Excellent communication with the owner for any issue. Receipt promptly issued. Highly recommended.

Peaceful place to stay in Gythio. Super comfortable bed, the room was very clean and the host offered a small breakfast and figs from his garden! We will definitely be coming back to this one.

the only minus was the internet which was extremely slow. but the location of this place justified that cause is in a beautiful Olive Garden so ok we didn’t mind .
The house was amazing. Very comfortable, fully equipped for everything you wanted to cook. comfortable beds , clean , mosquito nets and everything in order. We loved staying in an olive tree garden. it was one unique experience.

Everything was amazing. The host is kind and very good in communication. The room was super clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful since the rooms are in nature with a nice garden all around the house. A car will make things easy for you when you need a ride to the nearest place of Githio.

Quite small and dark room, small terrace, noisy fridge. Distant from beaches and town. You can clearly hear people talking, flushing the toilet, watching TV in the apartment above.
Nice looking room. Clean and well furnished, nice terrace with a view over the hill.

shower pressure was non-existent and luke warm
great location 5-10 minute drive outside of Gythio. friendly owner who lives upstairs in the building. room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay.
