The furniture and equipment in the room and bathroom are older and would benefit from replacement or renovation. The stove is quite slow, and it takes time to heat water. The pool, although clean, is lined with foil instead of tiles, and due to the surrounding greenery, bugs and leaves often fall into the water. The street leading to the hotel is very narrow and requires careful driving to avoid scratching the mirrors.

Excellent location, just a one-minute walk from the beach as well as from a street full of restaurants, cafés, shops, and souvenir stores. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very kind and helpful – the landlady even brought me an extra pillow. The apartments are surrounded by greenery and flowers, which creates a pleasant atmosphere, and there is a private parking area for about 10 cars. The room key is connected to a magnet that cuts off the electricity when removed, which is a good safety feature, but the oven and fridge keep working even while guests are away – very practical and convenient. The pool has both a children’s section and a very deep section, and the whole property is run by a family, which gives a warm and personal atmosphere.

Very good location, few minutes walk to the beach and just a minute to the center o Platanes. Old fashioned apartment, fully equipped with all needed accessories. Room No. 8 with perfect position, sun only at late afternoon. Regular cleaning and change of towels, bed sheets. A/C usage is extra 5 EUR per day.

I would have preferred a different shower, the one in my room was a hand held one with no bracket on the wall for making it easier to use. The lane down to the Elida was fine during the day but very dark at the top of it from the main road at night.

It is close to the beach, but central location to restaurants . The family who own/ run it are so friendly & helpful . It was super value for money, you got what I paid for. Some people might not rate the shower or kitchen but it did perfectly well for me.

The hospitality shown by Manos and his family was exceptional. Arrived quite late and was met by Manos with a beer. Always treats from his dad Nikkos (raki) and cake from his mum. Rooms always cleaned and fresh towels and sheets. If you needed anything you only had to ask. Stayed for a month so cooked evening meals several times and found the kitchen and utensils adequate. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return. We arrived as guests and left as friends.
