Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SloveniaBeach staff were pushy, food in dinner restaurant very awerage, bad coffee at breakfast, far from the city (30 min with bus), very expensive shuttle to/from airport (60€, weird it is not included in room rate), balconies are not roofed so when raining everything pours down a d everThing is wet so you cannot use balcony, a bit too expensive beach bars,
September visit- Peaceful location, nice clean beaches, amazing swimming pool, awesome beach chairs, good breakfast, great firm bed and daily housekeeping, very clean, daily top up of fresh water and coffee capsules, plenty of towels (also beach towels included), excellent wifi, recommend to visit as a couple, not very family friendly (no playground, no kids amenities in room etc)

RomaniaThe biggest problem was that we have asked for 2 rooms in the same villa when we booked because we were a family with many kids and wanted to stay together. But when we arrived they have said that they do not have availability and put us in different villas with no explanation.... we wouldn't have booked if we knew that we couldn't be together as it was very complicated to manage the kids like this.. also, it was a little difficult to manage going to and from the room, since the distances are big and you always need to ask the reception for small electric carts to come and pick you up. Sometimes they come immediately, but sometimes we had to wait for more than 15 minutes...they were busy, we were 6 and needed a big one to take us all, some cars remained with no batteries ..etc. Another downside is that there are no children facilities, no playground and, most importantly, none of the restaurants in the hotel serve any kid friendly food, so you cannot dine there unless you have children that eat adults fancy dishes...
The location is sensational, literally near the most beautiful beaches in Skyathos. The rooms are great, the facilities are definitely 5 stars but mostly for adults. If we would have been adults only, definitely it would have been an amazing experience 😁

ItalyI think the Service level has really dropped since the previous years. For example on the beach there used to be about 3 people from the hotel managing towels and taking orders. This year there was one person - who was overloaded and didn't start till 10am so trying to get towels on the beach earlier than 10am was difficult. In addition, the staff don't seem to be proactive or welcoming and accomodating. For example in the outside bar my husband and I sat down to have a drink and we waited 10 minutes and no one came to take our order even though there were 3 staff at the bar and no other customers. When I went to the bar to order they brought over our drink with no coasters underneath and when we asked for olives they gave them to us in a paper take away coffee cup. Not what I would expect from a 5 start hotel at all. It generally feels that they are not getting training or supervision and the hotel has cut back on coverage.
Breakfast is fantastic at this hotel. And the breakfast area is amazing. One of the reasons we keep coming back

SwitzerlandDuring check in late at night we told the staff that we were tired and even still she followed the protocol by insisting on offering the welcome drink, which we could have passed and got straight to the room. I got uncomfortable and could not say no. So we waited for the drinks which took longer than we wanted. Then they couldn't find the person to take us to the room, which led to more waiting time, until someone volunteered. I'd just expected a bit more situational awareness. Instead of insisting on the drink, simply ask if we would still want it considering the time and our tiredness. Other than that, the staff at breakfast tended to argue from time to time in front of the guests; many occasions some of them did not make eye contact to greet us in the morning or occasionally as we crossed our ways elsewhere in the property.

AustraliaThe hotel is set amongst a very large property on the tip on the peninsula. The property was is also set on a steep slope. Whilst our room was secluded and right at the top of the slope affording great views, this meant a long distance to walk up and down the hill for breakfast or to get to the beaches. There are golf buggies available for guests to call upon, but they’re always in high demand so often between 5-30 minute wait which can be annoying. Luckily we had a car, which we used to get up and down the property. Service was up and down. You could tell the staff were quite stressed at times, and it looked like they were short staffed at times, or the staff were quite junior in some areas, particularly at breakfast and front desk.
The property was vast and the area we stayed very private and secluded. The room was well-designed, modern, clean lines, with high ceilings, large bathroom and shower, wonderful balcony with amazing view of the Aegean. There are 3 beaches on the property, and we enjoyed all the beach clubs, where the sunbeds were free for guests.

United KingdomWe liked everything!
It was our first time in Skiathos and we chose Elivi after doing a research online for our 6 nights in Greece. The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature and the beaches are clean and relaxing! We arrived and were offered the amazing junior suite with a sea view and a private infinity swimming pool. Having a private swimming pool looking at the hills and the sea was just spectacular! The suite is located in the Nest area, 5 min walk to the beaches and breakfast facilities. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of food choices for everyone’s taste. The staff were very attentive and friendly. : ) Our room was very spacious, the bed was a dream with a view to our own terrace! We had a wonderful holiday in this paradise and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet peaceful and relaxing holiday!

GreeceWe would love to see a bit more authenticity/ flavor in the food next time we visit.
The location is beautiful, and the fact that you have 4 beaches at arms reach is a plus. What stood out for us really is the staff, they are amazing. Everyone is kind and helpful even in peek season and even when working long days in the sun. They make you feel very welcome and their hospitality is star worthy.

CyprusThey need to add more choices to the beach bar menus They need to add more buggies too. Sometimes they are immediately available but at some specific times you need to wait for some time to get one. The staff of the kids club was superb but the kids club is located at a basement and has a moldy odor.
The location of the hotel is the amazing with the best beaches available to the residents. The breakfast is excellent with breathtaking views and the most of the hotel's staff is very friendly.

United KingdomService is a bit erratic — most people are lovely but then sometimes you can tell the team are annoyed with each other, or things are forgotten regularly etc. It needs good management to make everyone happy and efficient at their jobs. We also didn’t eat there as reviews are not great and the one we did want to try was closed for a private event.
Amazing place to stay - particularly the Nest area which feels more like a secluded area of apartments than a resort. Scenery is fantastic. Great sun loungers and buggy service. Great beaches, and a fantastic suite for our honeymoon. Thank you.

SloveniaDuring our stay lunch options inside the resort were a little limited - when we checked Nest restaurant, it was closed during lunch time, and Grace restaurant was closed for a few days due to repairs.
We were pleasantly surprised with a completely unexpected and beautiful upgrade to the Nest Infinity room with a hot tub. Staff is very kind, friendly and accommodating! The selection of different areas and beaches in the resort is unmatched - you can watch both - sunrise and sunset from the beaches reached by foot or a complementary buggy. Food and coffee were great. Housekeeping and hot tub cleaning were done exemplary well! Our chihuahua dog travelling with us also had one of the best times of her life!

FranceThe service at the beach can be improved on: not friendly, not enough people working there, ashtrays not emptied overnight and the sand should be racked to take out trash, barks, etc. This lack of attention and of service is not great and jarring with the rest of the overall experience. Otherwise, the food served at the beach is good and the fruit platter plentiful: well done for that !
I found the site very beautiful and the access to Paralia Mpanana (banana beach) fantastic as I find this beach to be the best one I have ever seen (and I've been around quite a lot in Greece). The room was great too. The breakfast excellent and the Japanese restaurant as well as the Nest fish restaurant very good. The staff at breakfast and at these 2 restaurants (same staff), in particular the ladies working there, are really really good: welcoming, efficient, always smiling, a pleasure to be served by.

ItalyPrivate Swimming pool and the external aerea of our room didn't very clean. Keeping these area perfect is not easy (vegetation, insects and a lot of wind) but for a 5 stars resort the expectations are very high. Not all restaurants within the complex were up to 5 stars (dishes can be improved)
Breakfast was perfect : a lot of savory and sweets food for all tastes. Location was great : 4 beaches, beautiful vegetation. Bedroom with an amazing sea view.
