Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Poland* the room was really small, I was only there for four nights and my luggage was relatively small, but a longer stay would have been a bit of a challenge.
* A very large bed, even too large * Cleanliness - the room was cleaned every day * Breakfast - large and varied (vege options, lots of vegetables and fruit, a good selection of cheeses and cold cuts, as well as some local products). * location - close to Agios Nikolaos, Jerapetra and Sitia, as well as many beaches. * deep swimming pool where you can swim freely. * garden with many sun loungers, also in the shade, where you can relax in peace.

SlovakiaThe breakfast quality is poor (didn't have other meals there), also the waiters could greet and smile 🙂. Above our room there was a terracce and each evening there was somebody 2-3 hours moving with furniture and it was quite noisy 😅. The bathroom needs and refit and parking place could be bigger (but i can understand that its not easy 🙂).
Nice area with pool, playground and views Recepcionist and cleaning ladies kind and caring 🙂👍 it was always cleaned and maintaned

CyprusSo many stairs to join our room and it was tiring mainly to bring our suitcases to and from the room. This can be difficult for elderly or disabled people. Even though the food came in large variety, the quality was compromised at times.
The staff was very friendly, overall good value for money, nice view from the restaurant in the morning and during dinner, great swimming pool area.

United KingdomThis place has one major problem that it needs to address, that is constantly getting it negative reviews.. Due to the very hilly nature of the site the hotel is connected to multiple levels by many numerous steps. If you have any form of MOBILITY ISSUE the is place will be a nightmare for you as there is no one to help with luggage.
Great service, stay, and scenery. Facilities excelllent. Great beach and eats nearby.

RomaniaDefinetively not a 4 stars hotel. Bathroom need to be refurbished. It is to the level of 1970s. In addition, it is very small. Same the standard rooms, comparing to the superior rooms that offer a litlle more space. In fact the entire resort dates back to '70-'80 to the standards of that time. The matress was ok, but the metal bed had sometimes click from the joints. A proposal to improve the customers satisfation ( applies to a lot of hotels and no particular for Elpida Village): after each checkout of the room, a staff member to verify the status of utilities: burn-out bulb, drain clogged, etc. Little thinks, but very important. Not to wait the client's complaint.
Despite all its faults, the resort still has a special charm. Mainly the placement, overlooking the sea, plenty of green space with trees and shadow, hard to find in the coastal zone. The buildings are small-scale with 2-3 floors, in a simple traditional architecture, create quiet and privacy. Strategic location to discover east side of Crete, middle to all destinations (mandatory a car). I'm not a fan to spend my day at the hotel's pool but I noticed that most of the client choosed all-inclusive and they were enjoying the pool and the drinks of the pool-bar with its beautiful see view. The food is well cooked, each dinner contains at least one traditional local dish. We stayed 5 nights with half-board open-buffet, and we always got up to the table very pleased. A minus for the sweets. But this is the problem for all 3-4 stars hotels in Crete; they order from the sweet-shop, not made in-house. Overall, a good value for money, if you are not a snob and you can overlook some weaknesses in order to enjoy this superb island Crete. If you are a sophisticated person who get excited to photocell equipments or big plasma tv, then this place is not your scene.
