Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Location and staff especially the women in the night watch were great!!A Big +for the silence, really no disturbance at all - you can sleep like a baby:)The own terrace was really really nice and the cats living freely in the roof of the house opposite the hotel building were cute and funny to watch.Really nice cafeterias and good greek food possible to find close. It's really a neighborough of the USA embassy and some other embassies too so the area has a safe atmosphere and from the hotel it's easy to walk to the city centre 2,5 km or take a metro.

Canadathere is nothing that we would dislike
We must say, the hotel did not disappoint us. It is located on the unassuming quiet street very close to different transit means, including two subway stations (8-10 minutes walking distance) and buses (three minutes) - and that helps reaching all important attractions without delays. Those who are interested in visiting the Lykabettus Hill, need no more than a 20-25 min walk to the Funicular to the top. One may find good restaurants and tavernas in the vicinity of the hotel; we may recommend the Jonah's Restaurant, a fine dining extablishment. The Hotel is very well maintained, all amenities are in very good working conditions. The rooms are very comfortable - and we enjoyed good and clean beds. One gets a fridge and a safe in the room; also, there are rooms with balconies (we had such a room). The room provides enough outlets; perhaps, the owners may think about installing outlets with UCB connectors. The breakfast is VERY good and filling; one might have only one meal until the dinner time! All food is fresh and well presented; the service is quick and unobtrusive. And the final word is about one member of the Hotel's staff - Mrs.Christina Vetta. Always willing to help, to explain and clarify, to guide fellow travellers. Christina was extremely friendly and courteous to all visitors, so it was not just about us. We wish Christina to stay that amazing person who greeted us in the evening of our arrival. She is the best!

United KingdomThis for improvement - Very old fashioned room, requires refurbishment - Balcony is ok, all you can see is a construction building - Very noisy in the morning due to the construction work in front building - The lifts are very tiny - The carpets look very old - I feel the hotel is pricey for the quality of the room
Positive - excellent location - airport bus stop is about 5 mins walk - Metro connection is about 10 mins walk - Several restaurants, takeaway, supermarkets nearby - Excellent staff and very helpful - Bathrobes, toiletries, slippers are provided - Decent breakfast - Decent balcony

United KingdomThere is construction work just across the building at the moment so it was bit noisy during the day but evenings were very quite and peaceful. This will impact only if your room is facing the construction site.
The rooms were quite big with high ceilings which was nice. Location is close to ΜΑΒΙΛΗ Bus stop about 3 min walk ( Bus X95 goes to airport) and Ambelokipi Metro station about 5-7 min walk which have trains to the airport as well as Centre of Athens like Syntagma.

United States of AmericaThe vent fan in the bathroom sounded like it needed to be put down... so loud. Air conditioning was a bit of a struggle to get working properly (even asking the hotel staff with the settings). I suggest they include instructions in the room. Eventually the room cooled off, but if it was mid summer and power is not on when no one in room, I'd be concerned how hot it might get. Perhaps the AC in that room just needed some maintenance. No outlets that I could easily find next to the bed (but I didn't start moving furniture around).
Quiet location with friendly, helpful staff. Front desk offered to help with my suitcase to my room, since elevator only goes to floor 6 and my room was on floor 7. Room was huge and balcony area you could go out on (even chairs/small table in room you could move outside if you wanted to. Great selection of toiletries in the bathroom and nice for robe/slippers in room. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff helped arrange very early taxi to the airport. Walkable location the subway - maybe 10-15 minutes depending how fast you walk (and if you know where you are going) - just watch the weekend schedules for subway out towards- I didn't look and had a long wait (schedule going in towards Syntagma were much more frequent). Since it was a quiet location, I was happy to meet some friendly cats down the block!

CanadaAir did not appear to be on in room.
We weren’t sure where we were as we hadn’t been to Athens before. A map in lobby showing where we were in comparison to sights would be helpful. Also more transit info. (We asked and were told we had to pay by visa fora bus ride) so we chose to walk and really didn’t see too much. Room as very nice and comfortable.
