Everything was perfect!

Very professional and kind staff. The breakfast on the rooftop was amazing and the views spectacular. We were very delighted to be hosted in this hotel, not far away from Monastiraki and the Acropolis. The room was spotless, new and with everything we needed: good beds/pillows and great shower. If we ever return to Athens this will be our place to stay.

Nothing wrong can be said about the hotel. The street looks not the best in a first sight, but it should not be a concern.

This is only a 2 Star hotel, but it is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is just perfect for Athens. Monastiraki Station is very close and a hub of activity. Gorgeous view of the Acropolis from the rooftop.

Nothing bad to note

I am very grateful for having stayed at Evripides for 5 days with my family as it surpassed our expectations. The recently renovated rooms on floors 4-6 were spacious, clean, modern and had comfortable mattresses, A/C, safe, hot power shower, TV and balcony. It was cleaned daily. The restaurant where breakfast is served is amazing, located on the 7th floor with views of the Acropolis and the surrounding neighbourhood. Excellent Greek and Continental breakfast. It also opens for dinner as a bar and offering light bites (pizza, sandwiches). I also made use of the decent fitness room in the basement floor where there were two good treadmills. The location is on the edge of tourist areas and a short walk to Monastiraki square with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk - excellent restaurant Karamanlidika two blocks away. It looks like an area in transformation (gentrification?) as many old buildings are being renovated for hotels and apartments. The cherry on the cake was the staff, always extremely friendly. Special thanks to the couple running the breakfast and Sara at the reception. We would surely stay again!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the main attractions and metro station, also to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was nice, and the rooftop terrace was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms.

We wanted something less luxurious in the centre at a reasonable price. This hotel met our requirements without a hitch. The accommodation was clean and nice, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, the price/performance ratio was very good.

The roof top bar wasn't open and no snacks in the inside bar.

The staff were super friendly and gave us a free upgrade which was much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. We also loved the roof terrace with views of the Acropolis, the sea and city. We spent an afternoon up there and we're the only people taking advantage of it!

I booked a standard room, the owner gave me a better room with a higher standard and a fantastic view from the top floor. The location is perfect, close to a fantastic district with numerous restaurants. I felt safe in this area throughout my stay. I highly recommend it and if I come back to Athens, this hotel will be my first choice.

There was ongoing construction in one of their floors, so it was noisy at times. They informed the guests about it though and it was only during the day.

Nice staff. Good view of the Acropolis. Very close to the neighborhood with lots of restaurants. The front desk was open 24h. They also prepared a packed meal for us on our way to the airport since we were leaving very early.

Breakfast wasn’t good at all. The rooms are very tired but there is refurbishment going on. In fact, if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to stay elsewhere until the job is done. I would love to give it another shot after all the work is done.

Not sure what is available, but might be worth spending a little extra to upgrade. Small bathroom but usable.

Very pleasant 4 night stay for 2 people. We booked a standard room, which was adequate for our stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. But the real bonus is located on the 7th.floor bar area and the rooftop. Magnificent views of Athens, including the iconic Parthanon with both food and drink prices more than reasonable. The breakfast was excellent and once again came with stunning views. Great value and location for the budget traveller.
