Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceFacilities are old and not refurbished. The bed was so noisy. Cleanliness needs improvement.
Excellent location. In a lively area with nice local bars nearby and restaurants with good food. Police security guards are 24 hours present adjacent to the hotel hence , the safety is perfect. The metro station is 10 minutes by walk. It is also close to syntagma square from which you can reach to the airport directly by bus X95. Our room had a very nice view of the astonishing lycabettus hill. You can access to the major touristic attractions of the city by walk and also enjoy city surfing. It is also located to the kolonaki neighborhood which is believed to be the best area in Athens enjoying nightlife, nice bars and in brief words embracing Athenian night life and culture.

United KingdomThe breakfast was disappointing: no fresh fruit or yoghurt. The juice was cordial and there was nothing hot for breakfast. I tended to eat elsewhere for breakfast. That's my only real criticism.
Excellent price and fairly central location. The towels were really soft and the bathroom excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room really good. I would recommend it.

United States of AmericaNo frills, but a dream of a location in a lively neighborhood, with ppl on the streets 24/7 and a 24/hour cafe. Everything was extremely easy, breakfast was free, and my room had a balcony. For €50/night it was almost too good to be true.

Check in was very easy, the reception is 24/7. The location is super nice, just don't expect a quiet place!

SpainOur stay was quite pleasant and comfortable, although on the photos shown on Booking.com the rooms seem more modern and spacious. The personal was polite and they let us check in earlier then the usual check in time. The district is 15 minutes away from the main attractions and the historical center, if you come with car it is easy to park right around the hotel.

United KingdomThere weren't any bedside sockets in our room, but that's a pretty petty criticism and not a necessity. There were police who stood outside of the hotel on both the nights we were there. It was a little unnerving and i'm not sure what the situation was but that's obviously no fault of the hotel's. Other than that, a great stay.
Really hotel and great value for money. All you could ask for at this price, clean (the room was even cleaned in the day while we were out), balcony, good location near the centre, Had a lovely rooftop balcony as well as the one in our room, and an elevator to take you there which is good when you have lots of luggage. Our bathroom was nice, clean, and we were provided with plenty of fresh towels. Remote-control air con in the room which was absolutely brilliant esp when it's warm. All in all, really good value and a very pleasant stay for a couple of nights.

United KingdomI'd been a little nervous about staying in what might appear to be a gritty neighbourhood (what with the heavily graffitied streets and armed police stationed outside the hotel), but in fact I really liked the lively and non-touristy feel of the area, and it felt safe. There were plenty of great restaurants and take-aways near by, and I walked easily from the Cycladic Art museum back to the hotel without any problem. The location is also very handy for the Archaeological Museum. Also, it was fun to walk up the nearby Lofos Strefi hill at sunset for the lovely views.

United KingdomI had no concerns. Keep up being friendly and doing the good job you are doing.
The staff was accommodating and friendly, before and during my stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was well-needed, considering the temperature in Athens when I was there. Having a small fridge in the was good to keep some cold water in hand. The hotel is located in a very vibrant neighbourhood, with lots of good restaurants and bars around. The hotel is not a far walk to and/or from the city centre. The breakfast was very basic but it was good.

CyprusWell, it is a minimal place with minimal facilities. If you travel with a family it is a bit hard, if alone, for me (I do not need a lot of comfort but security is important which it offers.
Very well located, police all over the place since a lot of anarchists' are around. They do not disturb anyone is that funny feeling. But the police there.... 10 fully loaded police 24X7 under the hotel.

ColombiaGood value for the money. The breakfast is okay but could be better, with more options. The location is good, you can reach the Omonia metro station within a 10-minute walk, be aware of Athens' narrow and almost sidewalks-less streets.

CanadaBreakfast was very poor. I wouldn't recommend taking it. It was sad, really. Better options can be found for a similar price. At least you can get a decent cup of coffee and a sandwich somewhere closeby which we did after the first day.
The location was great, close to the metro station. Also, there were a lot of interesting cafes, restaurants, and pubs around. The room was clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed. It was a fair price for a simple stay, especially if you are not seeking luxury.

SpainSome minor complains would be that the hotel was a little old, there was a little noise outside and the room was hot.
The room got everything that I wanted and needed to rest. A simple room and a bathroom with everything. The personal was really nice. It was really cheap. You could not ask for more for that price.
