Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe were really pleased with Finikas. It was the last stop on our trip and we wanted this to be relaxing. The hotel is nowhere near town which worked well for us. But we took rides to close villages and there are about 5 excellent Greek Tavernas close by. There are goats and sheep in the surrounding fields and you can hear their bells as they move around and graze. Very cool!

United KingdomJust because it was late in season they had taken lots off their menu and had a really limited choice at dinner which was upsetting as this was our holiday and were looking forward to nice food. I will say though that lunch was great and the Cyclades salad was one of the best things I've ever had! The drains were a bit smelly in the bathroom but not all the time.
The hotel was great. Amazing pool and beach.

United KingdomOur experience in this hotel was wonderful in every way. Lovely pool, food in the restaurant was delicious and the beach is in front of the hotel, with sun loungers available for guests. Very friendly staff and the room was spacious and very clean. There is also a Restaurant nearby called FAROS and we highly recommend it!!

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was good, but not great. We had better breakfasts elsewhere.
Perfect location on quiet Pyrgaki Beach. We loved this beach - it felt out of the way and so peaceful. The hotel was beautiful, and our room (we were upgraded to a room with a private pool!) was incredible and so luxurious. Walking distance to Greek taverna Trapezaki, which we loved (ate there twice). Pool bar at the hotel stays open late for after dinner drinks - we appreciated that! We would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

ItalyThe breakfast could be better. Salty breakfast was very weak and of poor quality. There were almost only families with small children in the hotel, which was rather disturbing regarding the noise level
The hotel was very clean in general. All facilities were in perfect conditions and very high quality. Also the room was very clean und nice.

United States of AmericaBeach shoes would be nice, the entrance to the water in the beach is a bit rocky (not that bad, but fyi).
It’s a front beach hotel to a very nice, long beach. They have sun beds which are very comfy. The pool is nice too, usually the space for kids. Overall a good choice! About 25 min from the center of Naxos, so you don’t get any crowds in the beach.

FranceIt was a bit windy and you may need a car if you want to explore Naxos! The hotel can arrange this for you and you get the car delivered there directly.
The beach, the pool area, the bar, the lunch menu, the breakfast and the staff are amazing! The staff is really trying to make your stay comfortable and nice. They were looking after us all the time!

SwitzerlandThe location is very far from Naxos’ capital, there were no sport activities nearby and the options for transportation were very expensive (eur 40 each way).
The breakfast was very good, but I expected more fruits (there was only melon and watermelon).

AustraliaHotel restaurant and bar lack atmosphere at night. Dining experience the worst of our 5 week trip. Several other better options nearby. Taverna at Mikri Vivla on the beach is fantastic. It would also be great if bar staff could ask if you would like a drink when laying around the pool.
We loved the quiet tranquil location after 5 nights in the old town. Staff and room fantastic. Great view from our balcony of the ocean. Easy access to several nice beaches. Breakfast was also good. We had an issue with our air conditioner on the first night and the Manager ensured a new one was installed the next morning. This was greatly appreciated.

United States of AmericaThe hotel is very remote. Unfortunately we weren’t able to see the island as we did not have a car and there were not any regularly scheduled buses nearby.
The hotel is situated on the south west end of Naxos where you will find the best beaches on the island. The beaches are truly stunning. Some are sandy, some are lined with small pebbles, and some with large rocks but not sharp. The sea is blue and clear. The hotel is right on the beach. The facilities are modern and comfortable and the staff are wonderful. The pool, the bar, and the restaurant are all amazing. You definitely need a car if you stay here though as the hotel is very very remote and almost nothing within walking distance. A taxi ride to town or port would cost you 40-50 euros each way and there are not any reliable bus service.
