This is not a 5 star resort, but one of the most enjoyable experiences in my many years of travelling. If you wish to step away from the rat race and relax this could be for you. Exceptional hosts and beautiful views greet you after an amazing hour drive over the mountains from Chalcis (Clalkida). Limnionas is only small with no shops but has 4 tavernas which serve lovely food and great hospitality. The Residency has cooking facilities and a small fridge if you wish to self cater but you will have to bring that with you, this was made clear by our host days before arriving. The main beach is easily accessible but the other beaches along the coast will require driving on narrow dirt roads, well worth the effort. Even though remote we had phone signal and Wi-Fi.

The apartment is in a beautiful location, in a private garden, it is quiet, full of flowers and trees. We only needed a car to get there, not on site anymore, because the beach and the taverns are within walking distance. Beautiful quiet location. We will definitely come back. We only recommend bringing everything with you, there is no shop or petrol station on site. Otherwise, local people will help you.

If you’re after a noisy area full of tavernas and nightlife, this might not be the place for you

The place was absolutely lovely and incredibly quiet — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The view is simply astonishing and made every moment special. It’s also ideally located near some of the most beautiful beaches in Evia, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. What truly made our stay exceptional was our host, Dimitrios. He is one of the best hosts I’ve ever encountered — welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with outstanding hospitality

Just Beautiful! Rustic and serene! It’s super quiet, has amazing views and it’s full of green. The room was very clean and had a very nice vibe! We met Dimitris the host, who was amazing and really helpful and accommodating. The property is located near limnionas which gives you options in terms of visiting different beaches and places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay there and we are definitely going back! Frictories station of residency located in a nice garden, about 1,5 from Limnionas, wonderful views from large balcony. Wild nature, you may meet goats on your way to beautiful Akti beach which is about 2 km from the hotel but difficult to get down. Taverns in Limnionas wait you for dinner, while you can make the breakfast yourself – the kitchenette is fully equipped. But you have to bring food, because no shops nearby. The internet is very strong , we had WiFi range extender in our room. Worth to visit to meet peace and privacy.

Amazing views from the terrace of this apartment. You can find everything you need in this apartment. It's important that you can find shops and patrol stations only about 35 km from this point, so you need rent a car. The hosts are careful and unobtrosive. Apartment was cleaned daily.

There is not really something to mention. I had a very good time ! it was worthy the visit and the money!

Never have been before to this area of Evia and it really suprise me! The location of the Frictories Station was superb! We have spent our weekend in nature, in our comfortable apartment with a beautiful view and we were sleeping in complete silence!!!!! The hosts were very kind, friendly and helpful. Nearby one can find amazing beaches without walking if not wished so! Limnionas has three restaurants with very nice food. Coffee and breakfast are also easy to get.
