Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing bad about our stay.
Very helpful and polite lady at the reception desk who gave us a map of the town, best food and bar locations etc. We also got a free room upgrade to a deluxe room! Hotel is clean and has a decent breakfast, free parking was also super useful.

Bed was a bit soft for my taste but my husband liked it. Traffic noise some of the time.
Location - walking distance to restaurants,cafes,beach. Very nice roomy bathroom. Amenities for use. Enough furniture. Very good buffet breakfast.

Excellent Stay at Galaxy Hotel in Ierapetra! We had an amazing experience at Galaxy Hotel in Ierapetra! The rooms are beautifully designed, combining aesthetics with practicality, and offer exceptional comfort. Everything was clean, modern, and well-organized, making our stay truly enjoyable. The staff deserves special praise – they were incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Their professionalism and friendliness made us feel truly welcome. Despite its central location, the hotel provides a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. We loved this city hotel. It was walking distance to the seaside and many great restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and came with plenty of choices. Free parking was available and Ady has been a wonderful host. She was very kind and informative. We did everthing she has suggested and boy, they were good. Thank you for all.

Shower with glass door directly in the room is an interesting choice, its a touch more pricey than other comparable hotels in Crete

The only problem we had which wasn't the hotels fault was it was very windy there so you couldn't really use the balcony even for drying clothes . I lost some clothing which wasn't a big deal but they did try find for me and promised to post to next place if they found it.
The room and the bathroom were very spacious and very clean. The balcony was an added bonus. The breakfast was excellent with a large amount of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was excellent. The hotel itself was very clean and modern.

The hotel is in a great location in walking distance from major points of interest and just 5 minutes walk from the beach. The hotel staff was super friendly and eager to assist with any queries we had. Adamantia the owner is an amazing professional and person and we will definitely come back

The toilet and shower room had a slight smelk when the door had been kept shut. It would have been nice at breakfast for things to be labelled, especially the cakes and pastries but breakfast was very good

No Wifi in room. Toilet seat needed attention. There were no instructions for air conditioning ie this only worked if all windows were securely shut. We did report these matter at the time but no improvement with the WiFi and toilet seat was tightened but remained loose.
The room was clean and fresh. Breakfast choice was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Central location.

The room door was not very well isolated so we could hear the sound coming from outside of the room. The breakfast had a good variety but the quality wasn't that great.
Very comfortable room and bed. Good shower. Big room and good location.

The assortment on the breakfast could have been of som what more variation. The baathroom was a little bit small.
